Two days later

8 am

The aura of the entire classroom changing as soon as the door opens, leading mister jeon to walk inside. We all get up to greet our teacher, my eyes searching for his attention crazily.

"Good morning, have your seats, please." He finally gives me a rest, his sharp big eyes shooting right at my direction, and he smiles at me. I sit down, feeling my heart thump blood very loudly and gushingly. "We're all having a round two test today, which is basically something you're all aware of, right?" Mister jeon hurries to set his stuffs down, preparing to give out the papers to us for us to write a test, i feel doomed.

He's talking about the test which is mandatory for every teachers to take after a weekend passes. It's a very sick rule, but whatever.

"Lewis and joonseok, come help me pass these papers, quick." He slides the rubber bands off the paper bundle, and grabs some to then walk around and let his two students take care of the rest of the sheets.

I take my pencil out, and grab the cute biscuit shaped eraser to place it before me, eyeing mister jeon from the corner of my eyes as he's coming up to this row i am at.

"You remember the last day's topics, right?" Hearing mister jeon's sore and mellow voice, i lift my eyes at him, but fiddle on the tip of my pencil with my thumb. "I do," i nod, and this causes him to smile, he bends down to place a sheet of question paper down on my table.

"Make sure that you all do not forget about the literature advise i've given." He stands next to my table saying these to the students all at once, and he flattens a palm down on my table, giving me a good opportunity to gaze at his veins and hot muscles of the arm. He takes his hand off, and goes away.

I take a good deep breath, and hold my pencil, praying that this paper goes well. I start writing.

. . .

"What's wrong, miss misaki?" I get scared by the sudden question given out by a deep voice, and i lean upwards, but stand up after getting my eraser which fell down because i rolled my paper a bit too further. "Umm, nothing, e- i..." i curse myself, and continue, "my eraser fell down, just that." I nibble on my bottom lip too much, feeling his eyes pierce through mine, and i sit down on my seat with an embarrassment creeping upon my face.

"Hmm," a soft hum leaving him, he clears his throat at my statement seeming suspicious to him for no reason, i wait for the bell to go, finished beforehand already.

I wish this time lewis the jerk doesn't get more marks than me, then i can get twenty dollars from him easily. I glance at him, but find him busy in writing his test, hurrying at the last moment but still giving his poorly best. The bell rings for the first period to come to an end, i exhale.

"Alright, time's up people..." mister jeon gets up, and begins grabbing sheets of each pupil, glancing over at me. He takes all the papers and then comes at my bench, "was it good?"

"Kind of," i smile nervously to hand him my paper, but shift on my seat, feeling tingles spread down my spine as our fingers brush past each other's. "It's alright, don't lose hope." Mister jeon calms my tension down, speaking with gentleness. I nod.

Jungkook's POV

2 pm

I take another sip of my strong black coffee, waiting for the bell to go. This is going to be the first time i'll be teaching her personally, so it feels weird but in a good and calm way.

With that thought, the bell goes, and an instant heaviness falls down on my heartbeat, but i refrain it from contacting with my professionality, i pack my bag, grab my coffee cup, and walk outside of the teacher's cabin to go to my classroom.

I enter the corridor leading to the classroom, and with the luck of coincidence, i meet iseul on my way. She turns still on seeing me, while i make my way to her, and walk past her to open the door of the classroom. I enter, opening the door for her to enter too. "Was today tiresome?" I ask, on which she shakes her head, "no, i can study a little more."

Her sweet words make me smile, and i close the door, clearing my throat. I let the silence fall, and she makes her way to her bench, but i stop her, "sit here on the first bench. It'll be easy for me to teach this way...?"

"Yes," she mouths in her soft lilt, and walks forth to sit here on the first desk, i walk to my table and take out the books and stuffs i need for now.

"First of all, tell me how did your paper go?" I grab a pencil, and i go to her, sliding my chair forward to sit down face-to-face with her against this table. She avoids any uncertain eye contacts she could have with me, and says softly, "it went....fine."

"Fine, i see." I roll the sleeves of my dress shirt, and bring both my hands up to intertwine it on the table. "So you're aware of what caused the problem, which area you fond tough, right?"

"I think so." She glances up in my eyes for a second before landing this on my lips, and she eventually looks away from me. "Good," i get up, and i get the history textbook, making her open hers, "tell me what you lacked." I sit down, heaving a sigh as i place my hand on her book to grab it from her, her hot skin brushing mine, it makes me realize about how shy she is probably feeling.

"I think it was the higher marks questions." Iseul dares to look up, and i get relieves by this action of hers. "Those were hard, and for most of it, i knew a part of the answer at some points, but i don't know how to figure out the proper answers."

"Hmm," i wear my glasses, listening carefully to the sound of every words coming from her. "You mean you have trouble with this chapter, don't you?" I open the pages, and bring it to lesson six.

She looks up but nods. "I'm glad that you are speaking up." I acknowledge her of her cute courage she gathers to talk to me even after everything that happened, and i slip onto page number seventy-four, getting up.

I go in front of the blackboard, and hold up the chalk, writing the name of this lesson, 'the three orders' which is quite difficult for students at some point.

I write down a question, and turn around, but find her looking right at me. "So," i clear my throat which is sore since i drank a lot of cold water recently, but i ignore this problem and focus here on her and the lesson. "What question didn't you write properly in this test?"

Surveying the question i've written on the board, she then sees at me. "It's this question which you wrote." She tells me something i guessed beforehand, and i knew that she must've faced problem with this particular question when i saw the question paper itself.

"What consequences were seen of the catastrophe in the form of bubonic plague, is that your doubtful question?" I stare down at her, confirming my interrogatory. Her head bobs, "that is."

I glance down but exhale lowly. "Come," i ask her to step up here close to me, "i'll teach you."
