Epilogue

~10 years later~

Augustus POV

"Daddy." A soft whisper tickled my senses.

"Daddy!" The whisper was no longer soft. I shot my eyes open, glancing over to see Emilia, our second born, crawling onto the bed, her blonde hair a mess even though I braided it not even five hours ago. I rubbed my eyes, feeling the weight of Tallulah's head on my chest.

"What is it Emmy?" I opened my other arm, letting her crawl into me. It was often that she crawled into bed with us, she was the most affectionate of our three little demons, granted she was our only girl, so far. My tulip was carrying our fourth and last.

"Fiore peed the bed, he's stinking up the whole room." She complained, nuzzling into me. I sighed. Starting his potty training while on vacation was a mistake.

"Keep mommy warm while I clean it up." I whispered to her, kissing her blonde little head. She nodded and mushed her body against Tallulah's, flipping her little leg over Tulips pregnant belly. She didn't even wake, just wrapped her arm around Emilia and sleepily kissed her face. She always slept this hard when she was this far along in her pregnancy.

I left my little blondies to make my way to the kids room. A large room the kids shared whenever we stayed in Italy. It was the nicest room if you ask me, they had a wall of windows, all looking out to the ocean. I turned to Fiore's toddler bed, he was half out of it, and indeed soaked in pee.

"Come on buggy." I whispered, picking up his sleepy frame. He slept as hard as Tallulah, only snuggling me in his wet clothes and nuzzling into my neck.

"Need help dad?" Angelo spoke up, sitting up from his bed. He was only nine but I swear he acted like a grown man at times. I blamed his long period of time as a kid only hanging out with adults.

"No that's alright bud, you go back to sleep." I smiled at his furrowed brows, he was looking more and more like me everyday. I was glad he didn't inherit my rage, though he did get my serious stoic face. Now that I thought about it none of my kids got my rage. Angelo was polite and helpful, smarter than I was at his age, he could probably learn to joke around a little more, but he was a good boy. Emilia was sweet and graceful, she was a rule follower, a patient teacher to her little brother Fiore. And Fiore, well he was my blonde little toddler, one that laughs and likes doing anything he shouldn't be. My guess is he turns out just like Tulip. I was curious if our youngest would take after me, if she would unluckily inherit my rage.

I shook that morbid thought as I took Fiore into the bathroom, changing him while he was half asleep.

"I peed." He rasped with half closed eyes. I ruffled his blonde hair and kissed his chunky cheeks.

"It's alright buggy. We'll have a dry night tomorrow." I assured him, grabbing a diaper for him to sleep in. He slung his arms around me as I rinsed him down in the sink.

When I came back out I saw Angelo cleaning up Fiores bed, putting his sheets in the dirty basket. Like I said, good kid.

"We don't have any clean spares." He spoke up, looking as if he was ready to troubleshoot with me. I shook my head, still holding sleepy Fiore as I put my hand out for Angelo to take. He put his little hand in mine and I walked my boys back to our room. Tallulah and Emilia were passed out as I helped Angelo into our big bed, he crawled around to tulips side and laid next to her. He loved her affection but never begged for it. Tulip lifted her hand back to Angelo and smiled, tugging him close to her.

"My sweet boy." She whispered as he nuzzled into her hair. I laid down and brought Fiore into the crook of my arm, tugging the duvet over him.

"Don't pee Fiore." Emilia sleepily announced. Tulip chuckled and reached past her to hold my hand. I glanced over and saw my beautiful mate, our kids snuggling her as if she were a source for love.
