Later that night, while Carmen was asleep at home, someone broke in and took her covering her mouth so she couldn't scream and took her to an underground basement with soundproof walls. Carmen was scared and tried to scream for help but it was no use.

The next day, carmen woke up with her hands tied behind her back around a post and panicked. "Camilo!!!! Dolores!!!! Anyone help!!!" She called out but nobody could hear her. A small chuckle came from the dark as the figure approached carmen. She looked up at the figure seeing a man with black hair, purple eyes and a fancy outfit.

"Nobody can hear you down here carmen! These walls are sound proof so even dolores can't hear you" the figure said with a smirk and carmen started to cry, she wanted to be with camilo, she wanted to be with the madrigal family. "H-how do you know my name?" Carmen asked. The man smirked and leaned towards her "I'm corvo... Your birth father... I never wanted to abandon you but... Your mother did" he said causing carmen to gasp.

"Now i know you have your mothers little power of making miracle candles and that you made one... So here's the deal... You give me the memory erasing gift to erase your memories and I'll let the madrigal  family live... Don't and they'll all be dead!" Corvo said becoming serious. Carmen gulped not wanting to forget camilo but she gave up the memory gift anyways to save the one family she cared about the most.

Corvo grinned, untying his daughter and erasing all memories of the madrigal family and anyone else she met in her life. "There now you'll be my little girl..." Corvo smirked as carmen hugged him tightly. When the two of them reached the surface, camilo spotted carmen and quickly ran over, hugging her. "Carmen!! You're ok!!! We've been looking all over for you mi amor!" He said.

Carmen was confused and tilted her head "do i... Know you?" She asked which caused camilo to look shocked and his heart shattered. "C-carmen its me camilo...." He shifted into her trying to jog her memory of when he used to shift into her and mock her but had no luck. "I'm... Sorry I don't know anyone named camilo" she said and poor camilo was heartbroken. Camilo then looked at corvo who was smirking "who's he?" He asked. Carmen smiled "this is my dad corvo!" She replied sweetly while corvo patted her head.

"Also what did you mean by we?" Carmen asked and camilo tensed up. "My... Familia... They're worried about you" he replied rubbing his head. "Why? I don't know them..." "But they know you...you... Gave us another miracle... You're... My girlfriend...." Camilo tried not to cry as he tried to explain. Corvo slightly growled and held carmen close "i think that's enough... Mr camilo.... This is my daughter and I'd like to keep it that way... So if you'll excuse us its time for us to spend time together". Corvo said and walked off with carmen leaving camilo to stand there crying knowing he may never get the old carmen back.
