The mirabel family was confused at Carmen's words and began to worry a bit about who this mysterious person may be. "He's coming..." Carmen said again still in her coma. Camilo became concerned about his fiancee and held her close to his chest "hang in there mi amor i promise we'll get the candle back".
That night someone snuck into the casita and grabbed carmen bringing her back to the cave where Altair was at, holding the candle. Carmen woke up from her coma and rubbed her eyes before looking around and seeing her step-father "You! You stole the candle!!! Give it back" she demanded but the person holding her quickly chloroformed her and she passed out again.
The next morning the madrigals found out carmen was gone and camilo began to freak out, worried something bad might have happened to his fiancee. "I hope she's ok!" Dolores said knowing she wasn't able to hear anymore to figure out where she went. Everyone began looking for her when camilo heard her yelling from inside the underground base with a crow covering the hole. Camilo informed his family and they all began to worry more knowing how carmens step-father was.
Back at the casita, the madrigals were trying to come up with a plan on how to get carmen and the candle back. With carmen she was forced to be happy with her step-father and this unknown guy beside her. Altair smirked "carmen i want you to meet your future husband, Erick" Erick clicked his tongue at Carmen "hey beautiful". Carmens jaw dropped and she looked at her step dad with disbelief "dad I can't marry him!!! My heart belongs to camilo!!!" She crossed her arms and turned away.
Erick chuckled "oh don't worry doll you don't have to marry me... Yet!" Carmen gulped not liking how he said yet with such a dark voice, it frightened her. Erick grabbed both of carmens wrists and pinned her up against the wall "all i need from you my future wife.... Is your gift...." "Which one? I have many because of the candle" she smirked trying to delay any intentions. Erick growled and slammed her to the ground and before long a blizzard appeared causing carmen to become freezing cold which made Erick smirk. "Do have fun in this cold dear." And with that both Altair and Erick left poor carmen to freeze in the blizzard.
Carmen shivered and tried to make a fire to keep herself warm but the blizzard was too strong, putting any attempts of fire out and she leaned against a wall looking up at the ceiling. "Please help camilo i don't think i can last much longer"
