(Star-Loid's pov)
We..
No..i look down at myself

"When did..i get feet-"
"Woah!" I cover my mouth with surprise
"Steven! We..fused!" Our eyes turn into stars as we stand up, wobbling a little "careful Steven.." i laugh nervously "I'm not used to this!"

And..we split into our normal selves

(Loid's pov)
I groan, holding my head "ugh..what happened?"

Steven gasps and he stands up, jumping with joy "WE FUSED!" he yells excitedly

"We did..?"

"YES! IT WAS AMAZING!!"

I laugh at his enthusiasm "it felt..like something new.."

Steven nods

"Wow.." i put my arm to my head "thanks Steven..but what should our name be?"

"Hmm.." he made a thinking face "well since i have a star on me and..your name is Loid.."

"Go on" i encourage him

"STAR-LOID!"

"Like the marvel character?-"

He nods, laughing and running circles around me

I also laugh, his happiness affecting me
...
I wake up from his dream, frowning
"Damn it."

Bradley banged on my cage "wakey wakey, freaky!"

I groan "morning, Bradley."

Mae came into view with her tray "morning, Loid!"

I smile "morning, Mae!"

She smiles, handing me my fruit bowl with..blueberries!

"Woah woah- you gave me Blueberries?"
I was shookthh

Mae nods "yeah since we felt bad for what happened to you last night so..we wanted to make it up to you!"

My heart skips a beat at her words, my eyes dilate and my ear flatten against my head "y-you mean it?" I look at my fruit bowl

Mae nods "i mean it."

I sniffle a little, slowly eating my fruit trying to enjoy it

And then Jade shows up "hey hey what's shaking, good looking?"

Mae laughs at her friend's words

Bradley scowls "shut the fuck up-"

Jade looks offended "says the bitch."

I laugh a little

Bradley groans and walks away

"Yes!" Jade says in triumph, she raised her fist and brought it down

Mae cheers "nice one, Jade!"

"High five!" They say at the same time and high five

I look down at my nubs, frowning "..."

"Oh sorry, Loid..i didn't..we didn't mean to make you feel left out.." Jade reaches her hand in my cage "here."
She smiles a little

I meet her hand with my arm

*bap*

We fist bumped

I smile wide, my little tail wagging

Mae nods at her friends making up "well, come on jade. We gotta feed the others."
She pats Jade on the shoulder

"Oh right, see you Loid!"
Jade waves bye
Mae also waves bye as they walk away

"Bye guys!!" i wave my arm as i continue to eat my breakfast

(Jade's pov)

I stick my hands in my pockets "..hey Mae?"

Mae hums, letting me know she's listening

"I was thinking..how did Loid get like that in the first place?"

Mae stops "well..what I've researched..back before we all got hired..the dark woods institute emitted 6 people and..we have all of them here."

"And?"

"And they did horrible experiments on them..they..forcefully forced Rin and Len together.."
Mae started
