Desolate beaches

(Loid's POV)
I was..on the beach again..

Hm strange, i could've sworn i was waking up from my nightmare dream thing..
No matter, I'll just stand up on my fe-
Feet?..
I HAVE FEET NOW?! AND ANKLES?? FINALLY I HAVE PROPER LEGS!!
I jump up and around, very excited and happy to have a proper lower half to my body
...still no hands..a shame but I'm not really complaining..
I look around the beach..hm still empty..well it was always empty since it's a dream and all
I shrug as i head to the beach house "still nothing huh?"

I sigh, pushing the door open with my shoulder

I head inside to see nothing..not even a gem or Lion?
I groan, kicking at the air in mild frustration

"Seriously? Nothing??" I sigh "..wonder if i can cook myself something.." and she did. With mixed results

"...huh..that's interesting..taste test time!"
Nom

...

"that's amazing!" Loid was impressed in herself "i didn't know i can cook..or know how to use a stovetop.."

Loid then passed out on the couch later on..she woke up still in the dream realm..strange
.."why am i still here? Might as well tend to the place.."
She did.

She managed to climb to the washing machine/dryer hand and did laundry

Loid sat on the washing machine as it worked "what a beautiful sky.."

Loid got off the machine, now dangling her legs off the hand
Finally..she's relaxed.

Loid closed her eyes, enjoying the sea breeze on her face and hair..
Calm..serene..peace..
Every word for calm basically.
Loid was at peace, for the first time in forever-
..until a nasally voice broke the silence
"Hey Clod! What are you doing up there?!"

I look down at the green kid "I'm doing laundry!!"

The green child growls "WELL GET DOWN AND EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!"

I groan but oblige, i climb down the hand and arm

I walk up to the green child "what is it?"

She scowls and crosses her arms "who are you and what are you doing on the temple hand?"

"Well..my name is EchoLoid and I'm doing laundry."

"Well The Loid, i am the great and Lovable Peridot!" She grins

...

Loid makes that face in response

"Well Peridot..it was nice meeting you but-"

Boom! Boom! Boom!
...distant noises were heard

..both Loid and Peridot were scared, Peridot hid behind Loid in fear

Loid could only look on the horizon, seeing the water move "..what the fuck..?"

Peri simply whimpered
Loid looked down at the gem "hey it's okay, I'll protect you."
Loid got into a protective stance
..the rumbling got closer..

And closer..

A
GEM MONSTER CAME BURSTING OUT OF THE WATER AND ROARING LOUD

Loid and Peridot were almost blown away at the wind..

Loid roared back but with added sound waves

The monster whined but quickly recovered now in a attack stance

Loid looked nervous but walked towards the monster..
