Underlying problems

Ever since Loid got accepted into the program..one thing was simple, she was depressed yet hid that to everyone around her, she didn't want anyone to know not even her brother Fukase, sure he didn't always comfort her or give her affection all the time, he tried his best. He had a few problems himself

...they joked around that they were sad in a way yet no one knew

Sometimes Loid thought about suicide..or self harm..and she cried a lot after days full of singing and meeting fans and..the comments her v1 voicebank..Loid was right about herself..she was a mistake..

Loid didn't like anything about them, they hated their ears and stupid smile and..and..
...would anyone care if they were dead..?
Would anyone come to their funeral?..
Sure some would. But would her idol care? ...no probably not, her idol has bigger concerns other than Loid.
Hatsune had many admirers. Would there be a difference if one died?
Heh..so was Loid kidding?

She was worthless..every Vocaloid before her was way better even the ones who weren't even Vocaloids were better than Loid! And that name..

"EchoLoid" what a dumb name, even Gumi has a better name!

Why was she named that anyway..?
She didn't know..why was she programmed like this..?

...so one faithful night..Loid decided to end it all..
She didn't charge herself..so in the morning she'd be gone and free from everyone and everything..

The next morning everything seemed normal until Miku went to wake up Loid
...something was wrong..the Tealette rushed over to Loid and..saw the missing cord from her back..no
...not Loid! She was the most innocent person she knew..Miku loved everything about Loid..but was too nervous to ever say a thing.

....if only Loid knew. If Loid knew she'd be alive..and well,...with her family and Miku..

Miku hugged the cold body in her arms
...she cried and cried..looking at the vacant eyes of Loid.
What beautiful eyes.
What cute ears..

Miku smiled sadly
She would miss Loid..
She would have to tell everyone about this..but a little longer she told herself..

Only a little longer..but..

Loid moved a little
...turns out Loid was alive...

Miku exclaimed and hugged Loid, crying in her shoulder

Loid was confused but hugged back

...sure her plan failed but..she heard what Miku said and..woke up..not sure how but she did.

On that day forward Loid was a little more open on sharing her feelings

Not Fukase, he was more stubborn than Loid

He wanted to open up..but how? He was scared to be vulnerable so he grew to be a little hard and harsh to everyone not Loid, he was more gentle around her

He loved his sister and she loved her brother

Their bond got stronger since that day.

Sometimes the siblings would cuddle while Loid charged herself, Fukase would run his hand up and down her back to calm her

Loid would be the first one asleep and enjoyed cuddling a lot

Fukase would take a bit to sleep but he did eventually and was relaxed

...sure they got better..but did Loid really get better? Or was this another one of her plans? Who knows..

Maybe she did get happier

Or got better hiding her sadness to everyone.

Only time will tell.
