Who Would You Choose?

Chapter 7

That weekend I decided to go to my dad's house so I could get take a couple days without running into David everywhere. I saw David on the way out but I just glared at him and walked out the door. I still didn't want to talk to him after that day in the car, I am just so sick of all the lies and excuses. When I came back from my dad's, there was no one home it was just me I got really bored so I texted my friends and asked them if they wanted to hang out with me. We decided that we were going to go out for ice cream and then go shopping. I got ready and made my way to the door, when I opened the door of course there was David and Veronica standing there. David refused to move out of my way until I talk to him, I said "bye" and pushed him out of my way.

David POV

I was about to open the door, bit before I could open it someone else did. When the door open it revealed Kianna coming up it the door. She gave me a quick glare and tried to walk past me. "Come on please talk to me" I pleaded, bit she just said "bye" and pushed me aside and left

Kianna POV

That night, I Was washing the dishes and heard the door open. I knew it was probably David and Veronica, so I didn't bother to go check who it was. They came into the kitchen and no one said a word, I didn't even look at them. I had my headphones in so I decided to turn up the music a little bit. Veronica started talking on the phone. David grabbed some food and they went downstairs. When I finished the dishes, I quickly went upstairs and jumped into bed. The next morning I woke up to breakfast, I wondered who made it and then I heard foot steps behind me. David. But he was limping. Of course I was still mad at him, but I stilled cared about him and wanted to know what happend so I asked him.
"Morning" I  said
"Morning? I thought you were still pissed off with me?" David said confused
"Well I am but I noticed that you were limping and wanted to know what happened."
He raised an eyebrow at me
"Yes I am still pissed but I still care about you and want to know what happened so can you please tell me" I demanded.

David POV

I got up early and struggle to get out of bed. There was a sharp pain that went ran through my back. I finally got up and went upstairs. I decided I was going to make pancakes,eggs and bacon. I went back downstairs to get my phone. When I came back up I saw Kianna in the kitchen. I walked up to her,she must have heard me because she turned around and gave me a weird look. She said morning to me and I was kind of confused but she told me that even thought she was pissed at me she still cared. That made my day.
"So,are you going to tell me what happened or am I going to have to choke it out of you" she said teasing me. I chuckled a little and then let out a bif sigh.
"Veronica and I were I  a car accident." I said
"What, when did this happen" Kianna said worried
"Yesterday after you left"
Kianna was trying to get words out but couldn't get them out. But I know that she wanted to know how it happened.
"We were going to our friend's house and some guy was pulling out it of A&W and wasn't paying attention and Veronica swerved and we ended up wrapped around a pole. Literal." I added
"OMG are you okay, is Veronica okay!"
"She has broken nose and bruises but she is going to be fine"
"Ouch sounds painful"
"There was blood everywhere
"Eww"
"Yeah"
"So why are you limping?"
" I think there is a nerve that is damaged because the pain runs through my leg and up my back, it really hurts "
"I couldn't imagine, I'm glad you are okay"
"Me too" he says with a smirk.
