"We have to go.'' I said, starting for the door.
Thalia followed me out and back into town.
"Where are we going?" She asked
"To see the only person that can get us into Lightning's domain. My Grand-mother." I answered
We reached a small wooden hut with only a curtain for door. I stepped inside and the familiar smell of rosemary hit my nose. The inside of the hut was dark due to the fact that there were no windows. The walls were covered of shelves which were crowded with unusual items. There was a fire pit with a steaming caldron on it. At the back of the house, there was a door that led to a walk in closet. A small and chubby woman walked out of the closet. She was dressed in a plain dark blue shirt with a black skirt. She had on multiple bracelets on both her wrists. She had hair as black as night and crystal blue eyes. She was all wrinkled up and small delicate hands.
"Hi grand-mother." I said
"Hi Ash, here is what you came for. You must drink it at midnight tonight. This potion will get you in the force field safely. Don't forget to bring Thalia with you, you will need her. Drink half of it and give her the other half. Go get your brother and bring him back safely." she said, giving me a vial full of a glowing white liquid.
"Thank you grand-mother. We must be going now." I said, walking back towards the door.
"GOOD LUCK!!" She shouted after us.
''How did she know what we came for when we didn't even tell her?" Thalia asked, after she caught up with me.
"She can see the future. She knew we were coming and what we would need, so she made it for us." I explained
"Oh........ Ok" She said
We walked bulk towards the castle. I threw open the doors and made my way to the throne room. I blasted the doors opened with a gust of wind.
"WHAT IS THE MENING OF THIS?" Bellowed my father
"You sent Sasha to Lightning!" I yelled
"Leave us!" He ordered to his servants
Once they were all gone, he turned his attention back to me.
"I did no such thing! Last time I saw your brother, he was living happily in New York with his human wife." He said
"So you knew me where alive." I said
"You thought we would come back here and steal your thrown. That is why you sent my brother to Lightning. Well I have news for you, we never wanted your stupid thrown, but now, once I save my brother, we will come after you and take it away from you! Your rein has lasted long enough!" I shouted before turning around and leaning.
Thalia followed me back out of the castle and back into town.
"So your brother is named Sasha?" She asked awkwardly.
"Ya..." I shagged, trying to stay calm.
"And your father sent him to save you?" She asked
"Yes, he made him believe somehow that Lightning had captured me and that he had to go save me." I said
The sun was setting as we walked to the edge of the town, and into the surrounding forest.
"Where are we going now?" Asked Thalia
"Somewhere no one knows about. We will be safe there." I said
We walked for about 2 hours before we reached a treehouse. There was no visible way to reached the treehouse. It was about 4 feet by 5 feet and was made with wooden planks. It had windows on all the walls to allow the people inside to watch the surrounding woods. There was a trap door in the floor the enter through. I had made this treehouse with my brother when we were kids. To keep unwanted intruders out, we had not built any stairs. Since my brother could control gravity and I could make stairs out of earth we float myself up with wind, we did not need them.
"That's where were going?" Thalia asked
"Yes." I answered
"How do we get up?" She answered
"You place yourself near the trunk, give me your hands, close your eyes and trust me." I explained
She did as I said and I created stairs of earth around the tree trunk. I guided her up until we reached the top. I opened the trap and lifted Thalia into it. Once she was safely inside, I lifted myself up into it.
It smelled like rotting wood and had spider webs and leaves everywhere. I used wind to sweep out everything. There where candles in the room and I light them with my finger.
It was completely empty except for bugs that had made their home in the wood. They rushed back into holes in the wood to hide out of sight. The sun was down and we could hear the owls and the bats flying around. We could also hear the crickets.
We listened to the of nature for a while until Thalia broke the silence.
"What are we doing?" she asked
"We are waiting for midnight." I said
She sat on the window ledge and I did the same on the one across from her. We waited in silence until 11:55.
"We should get ready." I said, moving to the middle of the treehouse.
She came over to me and I made a circle of flames around us. Then, I made a circle of every other element, each one bigger then the last.
It was now 11:58. I took the bottle of potion and opened it.
We waited for a minute and got ready to drink the liquid. I had made a small cup out of hardened earth and poured half the liquid into if for Thalia.

We drank the liquid quickly. It burned its way down my throat and my skin started to tingle.
