After it all

The Meeting .. Sort of?

Link walked into the court yard admiring the bright sun as he escaped the academy without interruption. He looked of the edge as the cloud barrier that once was sitting in the way of the earth had Vanished. Zelda had removed the craft of the Goddess as she thought it was safe for us to live amongst the world. Darkness had been defeated.

Link looked at the ground of the world below which could now clearly be seen as could are floating island.

"Life has changed pretty drastically egh link?" Zelda called.

"I don't know what you mean?" Link called back.

"you destroyed the darkness which trapped us on this tiny island. you let us get freedom once again. You took down the very thing that everyone here feared in all the legends."

Link smiled. " All i know is i saved you. I don't need anyone else. You were the reason i went through all of the trouble i never would have been able to finish it without you.."

Zelda blushed.

"Your probably wondering why i called you here this morning?" Zelda asked.

"Yes. I was wondering what you had in mind." link said.

"well first off. I wanted to mention that it was the two year anniversary since that day. The day i was taken away from here by Ghirahim's tornado. Its been two long years since the Darkness known as demise was killed. You did it link. It's also been two years since you saved my life."

"we haven't been as close as we should have been after that. I mean we stayed friends but i know you needed space as did I. we were star struck all of a sudden. We were thrown into the Stardom. You were known as the Legendary Hero and I was known from that day on as the Goddess Savior. Its not like we had a moment to see one another anyways."

"Zelda... What are you getting at?"

"Link.. I am trying to tell you something important. I don't know how your going to take it but i would like to tell you."

"Tell me what Zel?"

"I..." (Slam)

"Ow..." Link groaned as he slammed onto the ground.

he must have fell out of his bed again.

"Dang it .. Zelda i think was about to tell me she loved me." Link said laughing to himself rubbing the back of his head.

Link heard Squawking at the window. He headed to the sound. It was his Crimson Loft wing."

"Wish it was the purple one." Link said smiling to himself.

He hasn't seen the purple loft wing since they graduated from the academy. Zelda went of to the New Lixour University in The Established New Castle Town.

That day continues to replay into the mind of link. The day he became a savior of everyone. He also wasn't left alone for a long while after that. Groose at least stopped bothering him as they became closer friends.

Zelda has been away at the Village university so he dosen't have time to see her anymore. She is supposed to be coming home today after two years of training and schooling.

Link headed out of his room to the Bathing room. He got dressed and headed on his way out.

"Today should be interesting." He thought to himself.

"Link?" Pipit said. "Your up nice and early? whats the Hustle for this morning?"

"I am headed out to meet Zelda. She is coming home today is she not?" Link said Nicely.

"Oh. Ya.. I forgot." Pipit said sounding sarcastically.

"Well good luck."

Link smiled and headed out of the academy. he watched the Sun fully rise at the edge of Skyloft.

He waited patiently letting sleepiness get the best of him.

"Should we wake him up?" Colin asked. "Na. Let him sleep. We wouldn't want to make him worried." Groose said smiling. "He can see Zelda later."

They turned and headed to the greeting party of Zelda which was going to meet at the forbidden room inside the statue of the goddess.

Zelda had arrived home early that morning. Not being greeted by anyone she just wanted to rest and allow her self to be presentable.

She just wanted to in decent condition for when link saw her. She hadn't changed much. She had gotten little taller and matured more but she hadn't changed much else. She was still the Zelda link loved. Or at least she wanted to be since the whole reincarnation of the Goddess thing.

The celebration of her arrival was not supposed to take place until that afternoon so hopefully Link was still sleeping. Knowing him. He probably was.

She snuck around skyloft unseen by anyone she knew. Until she managed to make it back to her room.

"ZELDA!!!!!" Karane shouted. "ITS BEEN FOREVER !!!"

She greeted her friend with a smile. "Let's go in my room before anyone notices. I don't want to wake anyone else. I am early after all. I don't want to cause a seen.

"Zelda. you know you should tell him."

"I know. Thats why i came back in the first place."

" I mean he of all people deserve to know." Karane frowned.

"Im working on it. I just don't know how to tell him. I don't want to lose him. He means so much."

"You should tell him before another girl takes him from you." Karane smiled.

Groose managed to be walking by in the hallway all red hair and all. "You should tell him before another girl gets him."

"Zelda must be confessing her love for me to karane. Wouldn't want to ruin it. I will just act surprised at the party." He said as he walked with swagger out of the academy to go to the arena.

Zelda went on explaining herself to Karane and her plan. She was to get Link alone by the statue of the goddess this evening at sunset. Their she will tell him. She was going to tell him two years ago but didn't have the courage and threw him off the statue of the goddess instead.

"Lets do this." Karane smiled.
