"Do you need anything else, love?"

"Can we please cuddle?"

❀❀❀

I heave a big sigh of relief as I turn off the car engine after successfully parking it inside the garage. I groaned lightly as I put my right hand on my thumping forehead, softly caressing it, hoping it would relieve some of the pain.

Today has been rough. No. The entire week has been rough.

The business of the company I work in is slowing down so our boss had to put extra work for us to do on the table - as if we already don't have a lot of work to do.

And to make things worse, he is rushing us. The average amount of time it would take me if I were to finish my work, NORMALLY and UNRUSHED, it would most definitely take approximately 2 weeks and a half. And he wanted it done in 3 days. 3 fricking days like are you kidding me!?

And yes, I did calculate that 2 weeks and a half.

I closed my eyes as I sighed one more time before taking off my seatbelt and stepping out of the car. I, of course being the moody person I am, slammed the door when I closed it. Taking my anger out on random things is one of my ways of coping with never-ending stress. Those poor innocent objects I threw around just to help calm my tensed nerves down. But I didn't really care.

But there is one particular person who is able to tame the wild and raging lion inside of me without things getting thrown around. And I excitedly marched my way to the front door as this person came across my mind.

I open the door, and I am immediately greeted with a cheerful, "Baby, you're home!"

I smiled when I heard his voice, soon hearing loud running footsteps towards the house entrance.

And in one swift motion, the love of my life's face has showed up as he stood a few inches away from me.

There he is, in all of his glory. Adam McArthur. The boy I became friends and fell in love with. The person that possesses the power of melting anyone's heart with his soft and beaming smile. The person who possesses one of the most beautiful cerulean orbs I have ever seen in my years of existence.

The person I was lucky enough to call my boyfriend.

He gave me one of his sympathetic smile, as if he noticed the obvious look of exhaustion present on my face. He took the lead by walking towards me and engulfing me in his signature warm and comforting bear hug.

I closed my eyes as I buried my head on his long neck, sniffing some of his scent. I felt him plant a light kiss on my forehead and my lips broke into a smile, my cheeks blushing slightly.

"I missed you," he whines, breaking the comfortable silence in the room.

I rolled my eyes as I let out a light chuckle. "Babe, I only have been gone for a few hours."

"I don't care. It's really lonely here in the house without you," he argues back, tightening the embrace.

I laughed. He is so cute, I swear.

He pulled away from the hug slowly, and our eyes met instantly. I can feel myself quickly getting lost inside of his gaze. Swimming along the calming waves of his ocean eyes. Those ocean eyes.

My eyes travelled down, taking an abrupt stop and staring still at his pink and plumpy lips. They are indisputably attractive. I could kiss them forever if I were given a chance to; and I doubt I'll ever get tired of it.

I heard his breath hitch as he must have realized me staring frozen at his lips, making my eyes go back to meet his. I saw a glimpse of plead in his eyes, and I immediately caught on that he wanted me to kiss him; and I have been waiting the whole damn day to feel his lips against mine.

I've waited long enough.

And I don't think I could also wait any millisecond longer.

So I did.

I held his neck and pulled his face down to my own's level and smashed my lips onto his, him immediately responding back to me.

The kiss was only sweet for the first ten seconds before it progressed into a make-out session. He has his arms gripping firmly on my waist as I have my right arm on his neck on the other is on his head, tugging lightly on his dirty blonde locks.

Yes, we are making out in the house entrance. But the both of us are so into the kiss that neither one cared. Good thing, I still closed the front door, though.

We pulled back at the same time, breathing heavily as we tried to catch our breaths.

"Did that help relieve some of your stress, baby?" He asks.

I smiled as I nodded my head. "Your presence is already enough to remove it. But yeah, that was nice," I snickered.

He giggled as he blushed. "Well, do you need anything else, love?"

I pecked his lips before answering, "Can we please cuddle?"

"Say no more, Justie. Come here," he says softly and we both made our way towards our shared bedroom.

I took off my jacket along with my pants, and Adam tossed one of his hoodies to me. I looked at the cloth and smiled.

"I know you loved that hoodie of mine," I giggled at his statement and quickly put it on.

It definitely looked so big compared to my small body, but it is one of the reasons why I love this hoodie so much. Not only was it so soft and comfortable, it also has Adam's scent in it.

"Come here, love," he offered me the big space of the bed next to him, and I unhesitantly flopped down on the spot and he wrapped his arms around me, me doing the same to him.

I laid my head on his chest, right where I can clearly hear his heartbeat.

Thump, thump.

Thump, thump.

Thump, thump.

Thump, thump.

Absolute music to my ears.

I sigh of relief and calmness as I felt Adam press a kiss on my head.

And then another,

Then another,

Then another,

Until it reached my lips.

"I love you, Adam," I say, it almost coming out as a whisper.

"I love you more, Justie," was the last thing I heard before I felt myself drifted off to sleep.
