"I wanna touch the sky!"

"I touched the sky."

A familiar voice reached my ears, making me instantly turn my head around. My eyes widen, quickly getting blurry as it clouded with tears. My heart skipped a beat when my eyes landed on one recognizable person. The anticipation of finally experiencing what it felt like to be in this person's arms only got stronger by the second. My insides tingled, my arms and legs shook.

A wide smile showed on his lips. The moment I saw him spread his arms open, I sprinted my way towards him. Knowing that the annoying gap between us gets smaller with every step I take kicked my adrenaline rush into overdrive. I ran faster, we got closer. And in one swift motion, I reached him.

Our bodies crashed against each other, both of us engulfing one another in a bone-crushing embrace. A sob unconciously escaped my lips. I wouldn't even be able to stop it from coming out if I tried; it is too difficult. Feeling his tall figure against my smaller one, how the hell will I be able to contain my emotions.

"Don't cry, Justie," I hear him chuckle as his voice cracked, telling me that he is crying as well.

I laugh. "I'm so happy you're finally here!"

His grip on my waist got tighter, "Me too."

"Woo!" He cheers as he paddled faster on the bike we rented.

I held on tightly to his lanky body as I scream at him. "Slow down, Adam!"

The idiot ignored me and kept going. It took 5 whole minutes of me yelling at him to stop before he actually obeyed. I sigh in relief and he laughs, making me hit the back of his head.

"Ow," he whined.

"You deserve that."

He fake scoffed. "That was kinda fun, tho. You gotta admit."

"No, it is not. And it's dangerous," I say back, him just laughing in response.

"You're just jealous 'cause you can't ride a bike," he teases.

I dramatically gasped as I put my hand on my chest. "How dare..."

"Sorry, just kidding babe."

I sigh deeply, admiring the gorgeous scenery before us. The setting sun reflected on the surface of the lake water, its rays bouncing back from the liquid glass to its owner, making such a beautiful sight of little sparkles dancing and glistening atop. The sky colors turned to various colors; red, orange, pink and purple as the sun goes lower and lower.

Stars start to slowly show themselves, all prepared and ready to serve yet another breathtaking view of the dark skies with small little white freckles spread, twinkling and dancing in sync.

My eyes soften at the sight. My hand raised, my index finger traced along the familiar pattern of the luminaries, revealing my zodiac star after connecting the imaginary dots. The constellation of Capricorn completely stole the show. I could not get my eyes off of it.
