"How'd it go yesterday" ben asked miranda as she walked in his house

"Good, actually great. What did you want me to come over here for" she asked

"No reason just wanted to be around you" he said sitting down on the couch

"So you don't have a specific reason. You just like my company don't you mr warren" she said coming up behind the couch and gliding her hands down his chest

"I do, and what about it" he said turning his head to the side and miranda turned her head to the side, facing him giving him a kiss. The kiss started getting heated and miranda didn't know if she wanted to stop or go any further

"Ok stop, your always trying to start something" she said pushing him back

"I start and you finish" he said pulling her back down to give her a kiss.

"Soo, did he ask you or are you guys going on another date" ben asked

"Yeah he said next week" miranda said going to sit down next to him

"Sound like you guys really enjoyed it" he said hating it

"Yeah" miranda said cheesing just thinking about it

"So do you see it going further from where we are now" he asked

"Uhm I can answer that after like the seventh or eighth date" she said

"Mmm ok" he said but deep down he really didn't want them to work out and last

"It had been 3 weeks since then and miranda had been on about 6 dates with David. Ben seen how much she was going out with him and seeing how they were having a better time each time. He just has to accept that she has found someone

David stumbled into his house holding miranda up by her thighs. She was holding both sides of his face kissing him sloppily. She rushed to take off her shirt as he sped to his bedroom. He set her down on the bed and took of his pants and boxers and she took off her jeans and bra. His member was standing straight up. Miranda woke up the next morning with David's arms wrapped around her waist. She leaned closer into his chest inhaling his scent. She reached behind her touching for her phone on the dresser but it wasn't there. She slowly moved his hands and looked on the floor. She grabbed her phone seeing it was almost time for her to go in

She wrote a note and left it on the dresser for when he got up. She grabbed her clothes, got dressed and was heading out the door. She drove back to her house pulling up in the drive way seeing Ben's car

"Hey what you doing here" she asked walking into the house

"I haven't been able to find my AirPods I was just coming by to see if I happen to leave them in here" he said still looking around

"Oh okay" she said about to walk out the stairs to take a shower

"Where have you been" he asked trying to make it seem like he didn't care when he really did

"I spent the night at davids" she said

"Oh alright" he said finally making eye contact with her. Damn she was beautiful

"May I go take a shower now" she asked

"Yes you may" he said chuckling "oop here they are. I'll see you when I see you" he said before walking out the door

Miranda got in the shower, got dressed and was on her way to work

"Sooo how did it go with David last night" Callie asked walking into Miranda's office

"Amazing" miranda said thinking back to last night

"Ooo you got some didn't you. Your definitely glowing"Callie said sitting wind on her couch

"Yes we did have sex last night, and it was phenomenal in his words" Miranda said closing her laptop

"I could tell. Your very bright this morning" Callie said

"Whatever" miranda chuckled

"Does Ben know"

"I didn't tell him but he was at my house when I got back from David's. So I'm sure he connected the dots, but he didn't care from what I seen" miranda said leaning back in the chair

"Mmm" was all Callie said

"What's that for" miranda asked

"Nothing, it just seems like he doesn't care anymore these days" Callie said

"You really think he doesn't care" miranda asked realizing her friend was true

"I don't know ask him" Callie said getting up to leave. Miranda knew that if her and David did have a relationship he shouldn't care in that way and she shouldn't either. But did he really not care, was all she could think about
