Part 17

"AHHHHH" Jessica yelled, the baby's head was out. She had been in labor for about 5 and a half hours now.

"Ok one more big push" miranda said

"Ok baby, on 3." Her husband said

1..2..3" they all said together and Jessica pushed. They all heard the babies loud cry as miranda took the nasal aspirator they had, to clear the airway.

"Ok here is your little boy" miranda said wrapping the little boy up in a blanket and handing him to Jessica. Jessica and her husband both looked down at the baby and smiled. Miranda and Ben smiled at the sight.

"Ok well the midwife should have explained everything to you guys on what to do after. Me and my husband will be out of your hair." Miranda said and her and Ben got up to leave.

"No wait, you can't leave well I can't make you leave now I'll feel like an ass. You just helped me bring the next best thing in my life to this world. You guys can stay until your friend comes" Jessica said

"Really"

"Really" Jessica said smiling at miranda "and Josh get them that spaghetti out the microwave. You're going to have to warm it up again though. Miranda's you can go and clean yourself up, I will have my husband give you a pair of my shorts and a shirt. And Ben your...naked, well besides the boxers. My husbands will lend you some clothes"

"Oh my god thank you so much" miranda smiled, when josh came back with the food, miranda and Ben ate before getting themselves together and dressed. They couldn't wait another minute without any food. Once they were done, they went to change and then they heard Jessica call for them. When they came out the room fully clothed, they seen Jessica still laying and Callie standing by the door, looking uncomfortable.

"Oh my god miranda" Callie said running over to her with open arms. "I was so worried about you" Callie said while hugging her. "Why did you have to go and let yourself get kidnapped" Callie said hitting her arm

"You act like I asked for it" Miranda's said rubbing her arm

"What happened to you head" she said seeing it wrapped up "ben are you alright"

"Yeah I'm fine, just ready to leave and get back to my normal life" he said

"Well then let's hit the road" Callie said making her way back to the front door.

"Thank you guys so much for this. Me and Ben appreciated it" miranda said before walking to the door.

"Have a safe trip" Jessica said before they walked out. Miranda and Ben both got into the back seat, sitting up holding each other.

"You guys hungry?"

"We are, well at least I am. That spaghetti was nothing, I can definitely eat again" miranda said rubbing her stomach. It was now pitch dark so not many places around there were open.

"Turn right in 30 feet" they heard the gps say

"Alright I'll see if I can find a place around here. I've never been to Oregon so I'm not quite familiar with it" Callie drove about 15 more minutes until she pulled up to a burger joint. Ben wasn't hungry but when miranda said that she was hungry, she meant she was HUNGRY. She got a burger with everything but onions and tomatoes, fries, onion rings, a hot dog and a strawberry milk shake, extra thick.

"What I'm eating for two" she said seeing Callie staring, Ben didn't look and wasn't fazed because he was used to it. Having to order her something or pick something up at 4 in the morning because what she was craving something that wasn't in the kitchen.

After getting all the food they left out and Miranda was looking through her bag to make sure everything was in there, she smiled when everything was there. They got in and she started eating. They were half way through the drive and miranda and Ben were sleep. Miranda laying her head on his lap, her face into his stomach and her arms wrapped around him. She wasn't squeezing to tight since he had a wound. Ben was sleep sitting up with his head back.

Callie looked back at them and smiled. All this happened to them and they stuck by each other the whole time. Once they were in Seattle again, Callie went to the hospital to make sure they were ok.

"Miranda, Ben get up" she said putting the car in park, they didn't budge just louder snoring. "MIRANDA!!" Miranda quickly jumped up with Ben

"I'm up, I'm up" she said rubbing her eyes and looking around frantically.

"Come on so you guys can get checked on, miranda your parents are in there along with everyone else. Just get ready for hugs" Callie explained before unbuckling her seat belt. They got out the car and started walking to the front doors. Miranda was leaning her head on Ben's shoulder and falling asleep, while walking. He picked her up and held her by her thighs, how slow she was walking they would never make it in.

Miranda laid her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms under his armpits. He was pushing thought the pain, he didn't exactly think about his injury when he picked her up, Miranda was so out of it so she didn't either. They walked in and all heads snapped to there direction.

"Miranda?!, is she ok?!" Richard said frantically walking up to Ben, Ben put his fingers to his lips to signal for him to be quiet.

"She's fine, just sleep" ben whispered

"Mandy!" Her parents said rushing over, ben did and told then the same thing, they moved out the way and Ben carried her to the on call room. He tried to set her down so he can go get checked out but she held his body tighter and wouldn't let up. After trying to get out her tight grasp, he gave up and laid down next to her, pulling her body into his. He soon was sleep with her
