"Ben what are we supposed to do, Im scared"
"You know what we have to do baby. I have to go out there" ben said
"No your not going out there" miranda said grabbing his hands
"I have to"
"No you don't we have to come up with something. Something that won't result in you going out there"
"Callie do you have anything" ben asked
"Ok so he has to be planning something because I'm pretty sure all he has to do was shoot the door knob a couple times and this door would be be open. Basically he's thinking we can't stay in here all day" Callie said
"And your sayin?" Miranda asked
"We have to stay in here and pray the cops find him before he comes back or gets in" Callie said sliding down the wall "get comfortable" she said
Miranda sat down on the bed and Ben sat next to her
"I want you to know if he does get in here, He's getting me before he gets any of you" ben said pointing from miranda to Callie
"Ben don't say that, we just have to keep faith" Miranda said laying down on his lap
"I am, I'm just letting you know ahead of time" Ben said
They were sitting in the on call room for about 40 minutes and no sign of the police or David. Callie was sitting on the top bunk of the bed and Ben was lying on the bottom with Miranda between his legs.
"David please don't kill her or him or anyone. You already shot two people" Vanessa said with David still holding her, pointing the gun at her head
"Shut up, how many times do I have to say that." He said looking around the corner before continuing to walk
"Look David you can't kill her or hurt her...s-she's, she's pregnant" Vanessa blurted out, telling the truth
"What" David said stopping in his tracks "is it mine" he asked
"Yes" she lied "and if you kill her you won't have a baby. If you kill ben she won't let the baby near you for killing her best friend" Vanessa said
"Are you serious?" he asked
"Serious as a heart attack" she said
"SEATTLE PD, DROP YOU WEAPON AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP" David heard behind him and cops rushed up to them from all sides with there guns drawn. He took a deep breath before putting the gun to his head. Vanessa looked back and seen him pull the trigger. He fell to the floor and Vanessa fully turned around
"oh my god!!" She screamed wiping the blood off her forehead.
"Ma'am are you ok" one of the officers said coming up to her
"Yeah" Vanessa said before limping down the hall. She limped back to the room that miranda, Ben, and Callie was in "miranda" she said knocking on the door and miranda jumped up
"Vanessa?!" She said running over to the door but stopped before opening it "is he still with you" miranda asked
"No, h-he's dead, he shot himself. I promise you he's not here" miranda unlocked the door and slowly opened it. Not seeming him she fully opened it
"Are you ok" miranda said pulling her into a hug
"Yeah" she said hugging her back
"What happened" miranda said touching her forehead
"Not my blood it's his. He was holding me before he shot himself in the head
"Oh ok" miranda said
"Are you sure you don't want to get checked on" Vanessa asked her
"No I'm fine, and they are fine to" miranda said pointing to her stomach and bringing her voice down to a whisper
"Yeah but there going to ask you if you want to do the rape kit. The officers would have asked today but you shooed them away." Vanessa said
"I'm fine and I'm not doing that. He didn't do anything to major just a little bruises here and there" miranda said, she walked over to the bed and woke Callie up
"Is he here" Callie asked jumping up
"No we're safe, he's gone" miranda said and then got down off the ladder to wake ben up
"What wrong are you alright" he said quickly waking up
"No I'm fine, he's gone" miranda said
"He's gone" ben repeated smiling and got up to give her a hug
"Do you want to go home now" he asked
"No, I don't want to go back. We can got to your house though. We have to stop by my house to get me some clothes though" miranda said
"Ok let's go" he said and they made there way to her house. He sat in the car while she went and got her stuff and some clothes. She came out with a bag, which probably was her toiletries, her computer, and another bag which looked like it had her clothes. He got out the car and took all the stuff from her to put in the car
"You ready" he said getting back n the car
"Yep" she said grabbing his hand and intertwining there fingers
