Part 19

"Ahh" Miranda's groaned after feeling another cramp. She was now 9 months into the pregnancy. She had been having Braxton hicks since yesterday. She was home alone since Ben was out getting groceries.

She changed into a pair of Nikes women pro pants and a white t-shirt. She grabbed her nike hip pack and put her phone inside along with a pack of cheez-it's, nutri-grain bars and fruit snack. She grabbed her air pods popping both inside her ear and put the case inside the hip pack. She grabbed her water bottle and put some water and ice inside. She walked outside and grabbed her phone putting her playlist on shuffle and the first song that came on was, Monica- So Gone. She walked down to the park to start her walk on the trail. She would usually do this with Ben when she had cramps but he wasn't home at the moment. She was walking for 20 minutes and she started feeling a little better.

She continued her walk and out of nowhere she felt something wet coming down her leg. She looked down at the small trail of water behind her and the small puddle under her. The cramps came back and it hit her that her water just broke.

"Damit" she said out loud and sat down on the nearest bench. Pulling out her phone she scrolled through her contacts until she found
"Future hubby🍆🫶🏾". Taking deep breaths in and out in and out waiting to hear his handsome voice.

"Hey baby, what's up."

"Benjamin *deep breath in an out* my water broke."

"WHAT?!, are you at the house, when, how long has it been."

"Ben calm down, it just broke. I'm on the park trail, I was going for a walk."

"Ok where are you."

"Like 30 minutes down *deep breath in and out* down the trail we always waaaaahhhh, ohh" she felt another contraction. "the trail we always walk."

"Ok I'm on my way, if you feel you can't wait for me call the ambulance there closer.

"Ok, I should be good your like 15 minutes awayyyyahhhhhhh"

"You okay!?"

"Yeah just another contraction." she groaned

"Alright im on my way, I'll stay on the phone with you. Just breathe ok" she kept breathing in and out in and out.

"Ok I'm here, can you tell me what your by?"

"By the small playground." she looked around

"Ok, hold on" he drove his way down to where she said she was. Be looked over and seen miranda slightly rocking back and forth, breathing with her head back and eyes closed.

"Ok, let's go" her head popped up and Ben helped her stand up. He helped her in the car and they were in there way to Seattle Grace. Every time she would have a contraction, his hand which she was holding would get squeezed and she would loudly groan.

"Ok here we are" he pulled up outside in front of the ER. Ben went to go grab a wheel chair.

"Hey Ben, what are you doing here?" Callie asked

"Miranda's in labor." he said grabbing the nearest wheelchair

"What?!, where is she."

"Outside in the car." he ran outside and Callie paged Deluca

"Make sure your breathing baby." he said helping her out the car.

"Ben I'm right in front of you, you can clearly tell I'm breathing!!" She yelled them winced at the pain "sorry" she said quickly after snapping at him.

"Move people move!" He screamed trying to get to the elevator. They got to the OBGYN floor and Ben looked around to see if he saw deluca.

"Ben" he heard her say from behind him and he turned around. "Let's get this show on the road." She said

"Ok baby one more big push." Miranda squeezed Ben's hand as she gave her hardest push.

"Ahhhhhh" her head went back and she tried to catch her breath. They both heard the babies cry and deluca turned around setting her on the table to clear her air way and cut the umbilical cord. 

"Here you go" she handed the baby to miranda.

"Analiyah Desire Bailey warren" Miranda's said rubbing her daughters cheek.

"I love it" ben said kissing his daughters forehead then his wife's.
