Chapter 19: thanksgiving dinner

Amelia surprisingly let me sleep peacefully through the night. Today is Thanksgiving which meant Monica will be making a dinner. I got out of bed, taking the baby monitor with me. The sound of a hot shower made me smile big. I made it a quick shower, just in case Amelia woke up. Things with Joey is going amazing since our first date. He has been helping out with Amelia a lot. Especially between acting gigs. Amelia loves seeing Joey. I put on a long black t-shirt with a cute designed dress over it. White socks and black boots went onto my feet. I curl my hair and applied makeup. Smiling in the mirror, I went to Amelia's room to get her outfit ready for the day.

Amelia woke up with a cute little smile on her face. I pick her up and got her dressed for the day. A knock appeared on the front door, Amelia and I go down the stairs to see who it is. Amelia is speaking gibberish while I am opening the door. Joey is standing at the door with a smile on his face.

"There is my two favorite girls." Joey said, kissing my cheek.

"You are here early, love." I said, closing the door behind him.

"I figured I would come over to help with anything before Thanksgiving, and to spend time with the both of you before we go over to Mon's." Joey said, petting Roxie.

"I appreciate that a lot. Joey, I have been thinking, we have been dating for a couple of months now. Everything is going amazingly, I haven't seen you even glance at another woman since we went on our first date. We have known each other for a long time now, and I want you to move in with Amelia and I." I said, worried about what he might say.

I could see the sparkle in his eyes shine more. His smile is big with his cheeks red. Joey looks at me for the longest moment before grabbing my hands. My eyes connected with his, feeling nervous yet excited to hear what he has to say. Amelia is playing on the floor with Roxie, all you could hear is her trying to talk to Roxie.

"Isa, you know you have my heart for the longest time. You are right we have known each other for the longest time, and I have always been by your side even through the hardest times. I do want to move in with you. I want to be here more with Amelia, and with you. Even though you get paid to blog every moment with Amelia and your life, I am going to be here to help with anything and everything. I love you Isabella." Joey said as my eyes started to get teary.

I pull Joey into a big hug. His hands went around my waist, squeezing me to death. A giggle left my mouth as he lift me off my feet a little bit.

"Would you put on Cocomelon and feed Amelia? For some reason that girl loves that show." I said, squeezing Joey's hand.

Joey nods his head. I open the back door to let Roxie go out and play in the yard. We had some time before thanksgiving, so I decided to clean up the house while Joey is here. I put all the dirty dishes into the dishwasher. Cleaning off the counters, I felt Joey put his hands around my waist. A smile appear on my face. I turn around and planted a few kisses on Joey's lips. Amelia is in the living room in her bouncer. Giggles filled the living room.

"She is perfect just like her mother." Joey said, still holding onto me.

"She is, isn't she? Let me get Roxie inside and we will go to Mon's." I said, kissing Joey one more time.

Joey makes sure all the candles and tart warmers were turned off. Roxie went straight to her kennel as I gave her a treat. "We will be back later, Rox." I said, locking up the kennel. Joey came down the stairs with the baby bag ready to go. I pick Amelia up and gave her a big kiss on the cheek. "Mommy loves you, yes she does." I said, carrying Amelia out to the car with Joey. I put her in her car seat while Joey put the baby bag in the car. Joey drove to Monica's.

We got out of the car and headed inside. Chandler and Monica moved into a house down the road from ours. It kind of worked out perfectly, Ross and Rachel is in the middle, and Mike and Phoebe are a couple houses down from Monica's. We took our shoes off since Monica made it an absolute no shoes  in the house policy. She made everyone a copy of her house rules and made us sign it, if we didn't follow a rule she took our desert away, It is hard to remember all of them, so she kept a copy on the coffee table for us. Amelia immediately goes to play with Emma, Ben, Jack, and Erika. Joey hung up the baby bag with our car keys and we joined everyone in the kitchen.
