The next morning felt like a blur. Rachel and I ended up sleeping on the couches last night. Bacon scent filled the house. I got up and walked to the kitchen. Monica was making us breakfast. I rubbed my eyes and sat down on the stool. My hands folded on the marble counter top. She poured me orange juice and handed it to me. A small smile appeared on my face. Rachel came out and poured herself orange juice.

"We can go to the mall today." Rachel said.

"That is true." I said.

"We can make it a fun day." Monica said.

"I kind of want to get a dog. Maybe a German Shepherd or a husky." I said, eating eggs.

"A dog?" Monica asked.

"They are pretty cute." Rachel said.

"The house is going to be pretty empty. I can train the dog and there is a big yard with a fence outback. I think it would be good to have a dog." I said.

"Lets get you changed and looking good so we can go out." Monica said.

I nodded and walked to my room. Someone knocked on the front door. I walked over to my big window in my room. Ethan was here. He is my moral support for the day as well. I got dressed and did my makeup. Ethan knocked on the door. "Come on in." I said. I straightened my hair. Ethan sat down on my bed and smiled. "You look cute." He said. I put on shoes and grabbed my purse. My keys, wallet, pepper spray, sunglasses, and phone was all in my purse.

"Monica and Rachel are taking me out to the mall." I said.

"That sounds fun." Ethan said.

"I am also getting a dog." I said.

"A dog?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah when the baby comes, the dog will be gentle and not hurt the baby." I said.

"I am going to be a uncle!" Ethan yelled, happy.

"Yes." I said with a small laugh.

"Ah!" He yelled, jumping around.

"We can have a big dinner sometime." I said.

"That sounds perfect. Keep me in contact." Ethan said, kissing my head before leaving.

I put my purse on my shoulder. We walked out to my car. I got into the drivers seat and put my purse in the back with Monica. The plan was to go pick up Phoebe. We drove over to her apartment building. I plugged my phone up to the car. We played Bodak Yellow and started to sing to it. "Hm, next Cardi B?" Rachel asked. We all laughed. I needed to change up my nails soon. We pulled into the mall parking lot. "Go to that one!" Phoebe said. I pulled into the parking spot.

Once I got out, we were all swarmed with paparazzi. Monica and the rest went to stand at the door. I pushed my hair back and looked at the reporter. She was my height, blonde hair, blue eyes, pretty. Her microphone was in her hand. The woman smiled and looked at the camera man then me.

"We are here today with Isabella Smith. The poor widow." The woman said.

"Nick may have died but whoever that person was will go to jail." I said.

"Everyone is saying that Nick was just your sugar daddy." The woman said.

"Nick was the love of my life. He surprised me by buying a house but what he didn't know was that I am pregnant with his child." I said.

"Are you keeping the baby?" She asked.

"I do not believe in abortion and I am old enough to take care of my own kid. Women out there need to show the world that we are strong and ambitious. When we get knocked down, we will get back up and fight harder and tougher. I am going to find the person who killed my husband and make sure that they go to jail for the crime they did." I said.

"Thank you Isabella." She said.

They got back into their van. I walked into the mall. We all decided to get our nails done. I had them to do a peach color for my nails and a glitter one for my pinky. My eyes went onto my engagement and wedding rings. A small smile appeared. I don't think I can take them off. Once we got our nails down, we went clothes shopping. There was a pet shop. I walked in and saw the most beautiful husky. My smile was huge.

"Do you see a dog you like?" A man asked.

"Yes this beautiful husky." I said.

"I will have the husky put in a small kennel and you can pick out things here." The man said.

"Thank you." I said.

We walked around some. I got Roxie dog bowls, food, clothes, collar, leash, tag, puppy pads, brush, bed, cute little shoes, toys, and treats. He put everything in a bag. Phoebe and them went out to the car with the bags. I paid for the things.

"I am Logan, I am a dog trainer. I can help you train your dog." Logan said.

"That would sound amazing." I said with a smile.

"We can do a couple times a week sessions." Logan said.

"Thank you so much!" I said, giving him my number.

"No problem." He said.

I went down to the car, holding the kennel. Roxie whined the whole way home. After I dropped the girls off, I went home. Roxie ran around the house while I unloaded everything. I quickly placed puppy pads around the house. Joey is going to install a doggy door for me for the back door. I sat down on the couch as Roxie whined at me. A laugh left my mouth as I picked her up and put her on my lap. She fell asleep while I was petting her. The whole night I was watching Disney Movies. My phone went off as I looked over at it.

Logan:

Hey, it is me Logan.

Me:

Hey, it is Isabella.

Logan:

Isabella Smith? I am sorry for your lost.

Me:

Thank you. We can start tomorrow.

Logan:

Sounds great!

I put my phone on charged and decided to head to bed.
