I walked down to Central Perk. The whole gang was there except for Nick. I put my purse down on the table and sat down next to Joey.
"You are looking nice." Rachel said.
"Yeah well I have an interview today." I said with a smile.
"When do you have your interview?" Joey asked.
"In a hour." I said.
I wonder where Nick is. I decided to go meet up with Ethan and have breakfast. Leaving the coffee shop, I walked across the road. Some car that wasn't stop hit me as I flew back a couple of feet. My head hit the concrete as I passed out.
Nick's POV
I pulled into the garage of my parent's house. Karlie ran out to the garage. "We had lunch with Isabella and she is AMAZING!" Karlie screamed, jumping up and down. I chuckled and ran my hand through my hair. Karlie and I walked into the house. We looked at mom and dad as they were tearing up.
"What is going on?" I asked.
"She is the one." Mom said.
"We love her Nick." Dad said.
"Well good thing I went to Switzerland to get her a ring." I said.
"Oh my god!" Karlie said jumping around.
I smile grew on my face. My parents pulled me into a hug. My phone started to ring as I saw it was Ross. "Excuse me." I said to my parents. I walked to the kitchen and took the call.
"Hey Ross." I said, looking at the engagement ring.
"Isabella is in the hospital." Ross said.
"Oh my god. I am on my way." I said before hanging out.
"What is wrong?" Dad asked.
"Isabella is in the hospital." I said.
"Oh my god. Go to her." Mom said.
I grabbed my keys and ran out of the house to my car. Speeding but using my emergency lights, I pulled up into the hospital parking lot. I got out and rushed inside to the hospital. My hand ran through my hair. "Isabella Carter?" I asked the nurse at the counter. She told me the room as I rushed to the room.
"She just got out of surgery." Monica said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Someone hit her when she was crossing the road." Chandler said.
"Could it be someone who hates her for speaking as a Latina?" I asked.
"It is hard to tell sweetie." Phoebe said.
"Did you get the ring?" Ross asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"How are you going to do it?" Rachel asked as I sigh.
"We need to get something off your mind." Phoebe said.
"Well I am going to have your girls take her out for lunch or something. She is going to come home and see rose pedals and everything else when she walks in. It will be great." I said.
"Awe." Joey said.
"She is starting to wake up." Monica said.
Isabella's POV
My head was killing me. I looked around the room and saw everyone. Ethan ran into the hospital room. Everything was a little dizzy. A nurse came in and had me drink something. My mouth went onto the straw and took a little sip. She put the drink down on the little table that connects to the bed. I sat up some and saw the stitches on my stomach.
"Hey baby girl." Nick said.
"Hey." I said.
"See I cant pull off baby girl." Chandler said.
"Shut up." Monica said as I laughed some.
"So did Karlie tell you I am singing at her quinceanera?" I asked.
"Oh yes she was bragging about it." Nick said.
"Thank god you are okay." Ethan said, taking my hand.
"I am kind of in the mood for some fruit. Like a fruit salad." I said.
"I will go get you some." Joey said before leaving.
"Are you going to be able to preform tomorrow?" Monica said.
"You may say that I have stitches but that doesn't mean I cant sing." I said.
"Well Karlie just texted me and said that you will need a big dress." Nick said.
"We already picked out a dress last night." Rachel said.
"It is so beautiful." Phoebe said.
"I just don't want you to hurt yourself." Nick said.
"I am not going to get hurt anymore." I said.
"Hey guys. Isabella are you feeling okay?" The nurse asked.
"I actually have a little pain." I said.
"We are going to give you a dose to help you with the pain. This is going to make you a little high or out of it." The nurse said before injecting me with the drugs.
"Guys I am legally high." I said with a little laugh.
"This should be interesting." Chandler said.
"Here is your fruit." Joey said.
"Ah thank you Joseph." I said as Joey looked around.
"She is a little out of it." Ethan said.
"Well I can sign the discharge papers and you can take her home." Ethan added.
"Actually we can have her rest at Monica's." Phoebe said.
"I get to see Monica and Rachel more!!!" I said.
"I need to go unpack but I will see you at Karlie's thing tomorrow." Nick said.
"Bye baby. I love you so much." I slipped.
"I love you so much too." Nick said, kissing my head before leaving.
"Come on Isabella." Chandler said, pulling up the wheel chair next to me.
I got in as Ethan signed the papers. Chandler pushed me out of the hospital. We got into the cab as Monica was with me. "Hey Mon. I really love Nick. Like if he was going to propose to me I would say yes. I would love to have a future and family with him." I said. Monica looked over at me and smiled. After that I kind of fell asleep.
