Y/n POV:
We walk outside and see my uncle. I grab Miriam's hand in my own being really nervous. Carter sat in passenger so Miriam and I sat in the back. But it seemed uncle Caleb had a bad day at work so he didn't really say anything.
Until we got to our house.
"I'll see you soon and have fun! But not to much fun with you and your gay ass"
"Caleb!!"
I yell blushing from embarrassment at him as he laughs and enters his car. He drives off blasting WAP. We turn to the door and see my dad standing there. He hugged Carter then me and greeted Miriam. We walked inside to mine and Carter's shared room. He got changed out of his clothes as he was sweating all day. He also went to the living room to give us "privacy"
Miriam took out her book and I took out mine. She got a call from her mother asking where she was and she said she was with me, Miriam also asked if she could stay the night to her mother which, she kindly agreed to. They hung up on each other and Miriam started to copy down notes. My phone went off and it was from Carter.

I put my phone away and focus on the school work there. I watched her focused eyes scan her work with her pencil pressed against her lips. I stared at her lips. Wondering if I should kiss her. She moved her pencil back down to her paper and I took this chance.
"Miriam?"
I asked. She hummed in response tilting her head up in acknowledgement but eyes still facing her book.
"Can I do something?"
"Sur-"
I cupped her cheeks and kissed her. My eyes shut tight scared to see her reaction. She didn't kiss back or anything but she didn't push me away. I pull away and cover my face. I was blushing. I felt and hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Miriam with a supporting smile on her face. She suddenly pulled me into a hug and a tight one. Then she started to cry? Why was she crying!?
"Why are you crying?"
She pulled from the hug wiping her tears.
"You kissed me.."
"Yeah..."
"You like me..."
"Y-yeah..."
"I like you too!"
Okay so umm.. I'm kind of in the hospital and I finished this in the hospital. With a possible broken finger on my dominant hand. And my writing hand. It's bandadged up by my awesome father!! And it's been two hours!!
