It was a typical Friday morning. Just like every other, except it was the last day of school before spring break. I crawled out of bed and walked into my bathroom. I quickly stripped out of my clothes and turned on the shower and stepped in. The warm water was rolling down my skin only enhanced my tired state and just made me want to go back to sleep. I quickly washed my hair and put conditioner in before going about my regular shower activities. I then turned off the water and stepped out onto the fluffy bath-mat. I rush to grab a towel from the basket and wrapped it securely around my body. I walked over to my dresser, opening some of the drawers. I pull out my black bra and matching underwear and put them on. I then proceed to pick out my light denim shorts and a black V-neck

I pulled into my school's parking lot turned off my car. I stepped out and made my way into the building.

My first few classes went by quite fast. When the bell rang, I made my way to the cafeteria to meet up with my friends for lunch. As I approach our usual table Emily, Anna, Chloe, Luke, Cal, Ashton, and Michael were already seated together. As I sat down my ears were filled with "hey's" and "hi's."

"Hey, you. What's up?" Anna says as I pull my lunch out.

"Nothing much. What's up with you guys?" I ask.

"So....are you exciting about the trip?" Emily turned and asked me with excitement.

"Yeah. I can't wait! It is going to be so much fun." I reply.

"I know, I can't wait either," Chloe added as Anna nodded in agreement.

"I don't get why you guys won't let us come. I mean cmon. We're friends!" Ashton whined again like he had been doing for the past week since we broke the news that he and Luke weren't allowed to come because it's a girls trip.

We would be driving to New York, where we will be spending the week in the city, just the four of us. We sat chatting about the trip for the rest of lunch until the bell rang.

I made my way to my class and just sat and stared at the clock, counting the minutes until I could leave.

When school was finished for the day, I made my way to my car, got in and drove home.
