Justin's POV

"Can we get some cotton candy? Pleeeeeeeease?" Alexa pleaded, before running off to the cotton candy machine. We're currently at the school carnival since Alexa insisted on going. I don't usually come to these sort of events. I followed Alexa to the cotton candy station and I watched her as she grabbed a stick and swirled it into the circular machine. She collected as much sugar as she could with her stick. Alexa pulled the stick out of the machine and giggled as she pulled a piece off and ate it.

"Justin! It just melted on my tongue!" She said pointing to her tongue as she let out a little giggle. Her laugh is really contagous as I found myself chuckling at her childish behavior. I pulled off a piece of candy from her stick and ate it. It instantly melted on my tongue and the taste became addicting. We continued to eat the sugary candy until Alexa ran from me and into the arms of some girl. The girl had long, curly black hair that fell over her shoulders framing her heart-shaped face perfectly. She was wearing a green tank top with booty shorts that showed off her legs. I couldn't help myself but rake my eyes over her body. She's perfect. I smirked to myself as I approached the mystery girl. The mystery girl looked past Alexa and right at me. Our eyes met and I noticed that she has green eyes. Her pale cheeks turned a bright red shade. Alexa noticed this and turned around, smiling at me.

"Come here, babe. I want to introduce you to an old friend." Alexa motioner for me to come over and I did. "This is Liz."

"Why hello, Liz." I smirked as I shook her little hand. "My name is Justin."

Liz's POV

Alexa had told me about Justin but I didn't think he would be this good looking. I can't believe this is her boyfriend. It sort of disappointed me to know that he was taken, but Alexa had him first.

"Well Liz, I have someone else for you to meet." Alexa said as she motioned for me to follow her. We both walked away from Justin and into a different direction. She led me towards a boy trying to dunk a teacher into a tank of water by throwing a ball at a target.

"Harry." Alexa called out to him as he looked our way. A smile formed on his face as soon as he laid eyes on Alexa. I could automatically tell that this guy has a little crush on Alexa. I hope he knows that she has a boyfriend.

"Yeah?" He asked as he went back to paying attention to his game.

"This is Liz." She introduced me as Harry threw a ball at the target and got a bulls-eye. The teacher fell from the plank he was sitting on and was dunked into the water. Harry looked at me and shook my hand.

"I'm Harry." He said as he shook his hair and combed it over with his large hand. This guy seemed cool but I don't feel the same way as I do with Justin. I think I'm falling for Justin, Alexa's boyfriend.

Alexa's POV

I left Liz and Harry to talk while I went to the fortune telling tent. I flipped over the flap to the tent and walked in. I was greeted with the scent of candles. There were candles lit all over the room. There was only a chair in front of a desk and a chair behind the desk. An old lady was sitting behind the desk with a crystal ball in front of her. The old lady had wrinkles all over her face. She had on way too much eye makeup and had a purple turban with glitter and sparkles wrapped around her head. Strands of grey hair stuck out underneath the turban. She had on large topaz earrings that dangled everytime she moved.

"Take a seat." She said to me without looking up. I obediently listened and sat down. She began moving her hands around the crystal ball.

"I'm feeling... love." She said as she closed her eyes and kept moving her wrinkly hands around the crystal ball. "Jealousy."

"You aren't sure of who you love. You are very clueless, unaware of what you have around you."

She squeezed her eyes and furrowed her eyes brows together. "I sense... something bad approaching. Someone is going to end up getting hurt."

What is this lady even talking about? None of this bull can possibly be true. She doesn't know what she's talking about. This is all just fake.

"I don't believe you." I said. "Everything is fine."

"Just watch out little one." She advised me. Then, she pointed to a little sign on the desk that said the fee of a fortune. Fine dollars. I pulled out a five dollar bill from my pocket and handed it to the old lady. She grabbed the money and stuffed it into her tuban. I left the tent and was drowned in my thoughts. She advised me to be careful, that I'm clueless, and that someone is going to end up getting hurt. This lady is definitely a fake, everything is perfectly fine.

I went back to where I had left Liz and Harry. Harry was playing air hockey with someone and I realized that Liz wasn't with him. He looked up from his game and smiled at me, showing off his perfect dimples.

"Where's Liz?" I asked getting right down to the point.

"She said something about going to get a drink." He said as he diverted his attention back to the game. Sighing, I looked around for Liz. I went over to the concession stand and saw no one in line. Hm. That's weird. I just noticed my thirst and decided to buy a drink. My eyes scanned over the menu behind the cashier.

"One soda please." I said politely as I pulled out the exact change I would need. I payed the cashier and sipped from my drink. I went to look for Justin but couldn't believe my eyes at what I saw. Justin an Liz. Kissing.
