Alexa's POV

Harry thinks he can just waltz back into my life and pretend that he cares after all he's done to me. But I refuse to let him walk all over me, especially when I used to suffer from his beatings and tormenting. Harry needs payback.

Sweet sweet revenge is coming his way.

I pushed my sinister thoughts aside while I finished getting ready for school. My outfit was cute but basic while my hair was left in a bun.

Thirty minutes later I was sitting in the back of my first period class. The students were filing in at their own pace as I doodled in my notebook.

"Is this seat taken?" A familiar raspy voice said.

"No, of course not." I plaster a fake smile on my face as I squeezed my pen to suppress my anger.

"How come you didn't call me back yesterday?" He asked, green eyes staring into my brown ones. I almost felt guilty. Almost.

"Oh, I was busy and I guess I just forgot to call you back," I lied.

"Oh."

I was so grateful when the bell rang so I wouldn't have to converse with this monster any longer.

I zoned out the teacher for five minutes until class was disrupted.

Niall walked into the room, looking as nonchalant as ever with his raybans on his face and his hands shoved in his pockets.

"So nice of you to join us, Mr. Horan," the teacher sarcastically remarked.

He walked through the aisles and settled into the desk behind me.

"Hey Alexa."

I turned around.

"Hey Niall. What's up?" I smiled.

"Want to hang out Friday night? There's a party at Brad's house."

"Sure," I said as a blush crept onto y cheeks.

"I'll text you the details."

I nodded and turned back in my seat.

"What did that Irish bloke want?" Harry suddenly growled.

"He was asking me a question on the homework," I lied once again perfectly.

Harry nodded, his fists clenching and unclenching at his sides.
