Harry didn't let go of his hand. Draco didn't either.

"Thanks." Harry smiled softly. "That was nice of you." Draco's cheeks reddened and he smiled softly.

Harry was too mesmerized by his eyes and cheeks that he didn't see Jay coming back with their order.

She coughed suggestively, smirking at their linked hands. "Burgers for the lovely couple." She said cheekily and placed them on the table.

The retrieved their hands hastily, protests on the tip of their tongue.

"We're not—" Harry said.

"Oh shut up, Harry. I think I can keep a secret." She winked, giggled and left.

Harry blinked a few times before making sure Draco wasn't uncomfortable with this and gestured to him to eat. "Uhm, here you go. Burgers."

"Right." Draco nodded, avoiding his eyes. "Uh Potter—? There is no knife or fork?" He said after staring and scrutinizing the food item placed in front of him.

Harry chuckled, "You have your hands." He wiggled his fingers and demonstrated the way to eat a burger.

"Ew no. That's gross."

"Is not!" Harry said after biting a large chunk.

Draco harrumphed but mimicked his actions, biting into the bread. He chewed and swallowed. He sighed in contentment, "'S not that bad." He mumbled before biting into it again.

Harry liked the way his nose would scrunch up in concentration and the creases on his forehead would relax.

"Why the fuck does it keep falling out?" He waved a hand over the slices of tomatoes on his plate. Harry grinned. "Eating a burger is an art. A posh wizard like you can't do it. You need practice."

Draco glared at him.

"Shut up." He sneered and picked up a slice of tomato and ate it.

"Make me." Harry rolled his eyes. Unfortunately, neither of them were careful enough to understand the meaning behind this and they kept on eating.

Satisfied with their food, they left the cafe. Harry avoided the smirking gaze of Jay, making sure to flip her off before the two went to board the next train.

Draco sat down quickly, his face calm. He looked satisfied.

"Potter." He said.

"What?"

"Thank you." He mumbled and looked away.

"You're welcome." Harry smiled widely, his heart beating loudly, hands tingling with Draco's touch.

They didn't talk for the rest of the ride and Harry went to his house with a bright grin plastered on his face. He could get used to seeing Draco.
