Draco ran.

It had been hours since Harry had been gone and he knew he would find the boy in the trains. But which one?

There were trains coming and going every one minute and it made his head spin to even calculate which one Harry would've boarded. Sirius placed a hand on his shoulder, forehead creased with worry, "Where is he?"

Draco swallowed, "I can't be sure."

Sirius frowned, "Does he have a favorite place somewhere around here?"

Draco's eyes widened, "Yes! He had this favorite cafe he took me to once. We could look there, maybe?"

"Yes. That's a good idea. I agree. Where is it?"

"Uh, follow me."

They hopped into a train that took them towards Privet Drive and sat in an uncomfortable silence.

"Did you have a fight with him?" Sirius asked.

"Sort of."

"Sort of?"

"Okay. We did have an argument of sorts and he was upset when he left…." Draco shrugged his shoulders and grimaced at his own words.

Sirius pursed his lips and stared at him intently with his eyebrows raised inquisitively, "And? Care to tell me what happened?"

Draco sighed and rubbed his face with his palm, "Uhm. It's embarrassing to talk about."

"I'm his godfather. He would have told me anyway."

Draco nodded and licked his lips nervously, "Okay. Basically he asked me if I had feelings for him."

Sirius sighed. He knew what was going on.

"You acted like an idiot and pushed him away, I presume?"

"Yes," Draco hung his head in embarrassment, "I am an idiot. I do care about him very much but I'm scared because right now we live in the same house and are spending a lot of time together. His feelings for me could just be because of our close proximity. It's all bloody complicated, that is. Once the summer is over, who knows what'll happen to us? Maybe he'll move on and just forget about this childish thing we have going on."

Sirius furrowed his brows, "This is not at all complicated. You are the one who is making this complicated. Fucking hell, you two are more idiots than Remus and I were." He huffed.

"But—!"

"No buts. Listen to me. If you two feel so strongly about each other then there's nothing that can stop this. If somehow you two get separated after summer then that's fine too! But nobody knows the future, right? None of us know what's going to happen in the next ten minutes or days. It's all a fucking mystery! If you'll be scared of the future, Draco, how the hell are you going to be okay with living in the now?"

"I don't know, Sirius. I'm just scared of heartbreak."

Sirius smiled warmly, "That's okay. Being scared is normal. But don't let it get in the way of your happiness, alright?"

Draco let out a breath, "Okay." He smiled, "Thanks."

"No problem, kiddo." Sirius looked up as they reached another train station, "Is that the cafe?" He jutted his chin towards it.

Draco jumped up, "Yes! Let's go!"

The two left the train hurriedly and shuffled quickly towards the small cafe.
