It had been a little bit of a month since the backstage altercation, since then Shawn and I have been hanging out and enjoying each other's company as friends. I'm on the road this afternoon driving over to San Antonio, Shawn called me to see if I wanted to hang out with him and help him unpack some of his new furniture and old furniture since he moved into his brand new house he bought.
I arrived in front of the house, at first glance the house looked beautiful something he would definitely pick, also something I wish I could afford one day. I get out and closed the door right behind me, walked up the brick steps and knocked on the door, I turned around one more time to look at the beautiful front yard and the door swung open.
"Sawyer You Finally Made it." Shawn Said
"Yeah your lucky I like you, I wouldn't have driven all the way out here to come help you." I Said
Shawn opened the door more and I entered the house, I looked around the half empty house. The inside of the house looked beautiful, I nodded and patted Shawn's shoulder.
"You've really out done yourself Hickenbottom." I Smiled
"I know but I've been saving up for a while now, plus I'm going on 32..I'm a man I need a bigger space." Shawn Said
"So what's the first thing you want me to help you with?" I Asked
"Um why don't we start with those end tables and then you can help me with the table, I'll leave you with the easy things and I'll deal with the heavier things." Shawn Said
"Okay." I Said then clapped my hand together
Throughout the day Shawn and I un packed some of his furniture, I even gave myself a tour to see the other sides of the house. I saw pictures of himself when he was younger, he looked adorable when he was a teenager.
"What are you doing?" Shawn Asked
"Looking at your high pictures, you played football?" I Asked
"Mhmm I was really good, even got my name on a trophy...I'm pretty sure it's still there." Shawn Said
"So you were a ladies man in high school as well?" I Asked
"No surprisingly not, I mean I've had girlfriends and all but I was definitely not who I am today in high school." Shawn Said
