In a dark room which only showed sadness and gloominess, suddenly a voice came which was of an alarm clock. A girl turned it off and got up from her bed. She removed the curtain to see sun was not up yet. She checked the time it was 3 in the morning. She drew back the curtain and went to washroom for freshing herself up and change into her gym attire.

She left the room with her phone and headphones. She went downstairs in the living room just to see her mom entering into the house.
??- " Mom, where were you?" The girl spoke in a really cold voice which her mother was used to.
Mom- "Y/N, I just came from the office. Some important work was left, so, I had to finish it. You know about the new collaboration." Her mother said with a little hesitation but y/n knew that her mother was somewhat lying because last night she checked there was no work at the company. She didn't want to waste her time, so, she just nooded her head and left for jogging.
Her mother in her mind said, "I'm sorry y/n for lying. But I promise you I'll tell you about all these things soon. I don't want you to be cold like you are. I want my sweet and cheerful daughter back. I don't know how you will react after listening to me but I know they will change you to your old self."
Y/N's POV
I knew mom was lying. These days she is acting very strange. I wanted to investigate but I didn't want to invade her privacy, so, I left it. But today it went a little far as it was her rule to not come late in the morning because of office work. But she herself came late and broke the rule which is so not like her. I unlocked my phone and called one of my mafia member.
Y/N- " I want you to investigate about my mother and tell me what she is doing and whom she is meeting these days by today evening. Is it clear?"
Member- "Yes ma'am." And I hung up the call. I started jogging listening to the music.
(Time skip) After covering few kms, I jogged back to my house and straightly went to my personal gym. After few hours of working out, I checked the time it was 5AM. I went to my room and took shower. I wore my clothes for college, applied chapstick to my lips and tied my hairs in a high pony tail.
