She raised her left eyebrows and then gestured her to leave.

IU's POV

I'm not shocked that y/n knows about me and him but I'm surely shocked that she would say something like this to me. She always told me to stay away from boys and men. To not love them but now that she knows I'm seeing someone, she is surely to quite about it. She would have confronted me that very moment and would have told me to stay away from him. I'm shocked...but one thing is clear y/n is keeping tabs on us. She is paranoid to the state she is ready to keep tabs on us, her friends. I know that with every thing that happened with her, it is common and wiser of her to keep tabs on people around her. But keep tabs on us, who were and are there with her through thick and thin, who are ready to kill anyone who hurt her and is ready to kill the bastards who hurted her in the past. I'm angry to say the least. This topic has not ended here and y/n should know that I won't keep quite about it. She wants to keep tabs on us, she will then have to forget that we are her friends because i never asked her what's going on between her and Yeonjun or any other guy and i, surely, never paid people to tell every activity of her. This is ridiculous of her and I'm sure she has also paid people to keep an eye on Kim family and her mom. I was lost in my thought and didn't realise that I'm infront of the man she was talking about. The guy with that killer smirk, leaning against his car, watching me with those lust-love filled eyes, is none other than Kim Jungkook, y/n's soon to be stepbrother, who I'm seeing and fucking since the first time we met.

Author's POV

IU was not happy with what y/n said and is doing that was clear but y/n didn't care or wasn't aware of it because she was busy with her mess of a life. She was watching Jungkook and IU from her floor to ceiling window in her office with a whiskey in her hand. She was staring with so much thoughts in her mind that was messing with her. She didn't know that whether what she said to IU was right or not. Was she keeping tabs on every person around her, whether they are her closest and dearest friends, her mom or her new family? Yes. But she didn't have any other way of keeping them protected and know when one of them turns against her or is blackmailed to do so something that could harm her or any one close to them. Even the people who were working for them was being thoroughly checked and inspected before working. With her plan working in order except for the little slip up, her mom's marriage, she knew that he or his little gang will surely do something out of line soon. A knock on her door brought her our of her thoughts. She looked at the time and it was 3:15. The person she was supposed to meet was still not here.

Y/N- "Come in." She said without turning and still looking outside the window but this time looking up at the sky.
The person was here whom she had to meet, who will play a big role in her plan of taking revenge.

The person's POV

The cold and indifferent voice of Y/N came as she told me to come in. The first thing I saw as I entered was her standing in front of the floor to ceiling window, looking up at the sky with a glass of ,what i guess is, whiskey in her hand. She didn't turn around as i came in but I know that she knows I'm here. When she called me late at night, I got worried. I thought something happened, i thought she was in danger, but it was just a call to tell me to come to her office. I was late but i had to run some errands before coming here.

???- "I know I'm late but i had to do some work for my father before coming here. So what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

Author's POV

Y/N knew the moment he came in, his presence was something she couldn't ignore. She craved for it but will never say because the craving she had will have to go away sooner or latter beacuse she can't handle breaking someone else's heart again. So with one last sip of her leftover whiskey, she turned around before speaking the words that will change both of their lives. For better or for worse? That we will know.

Y/N- "Marry me Yeonjun."
