The sun was nice and warm, the breeze wasn't icy like in the snowy area it didn't feel like it was piercing your lungs each time you took a breath in

It wasn't too hot it wasn't too cold it was perfect

The grass was a healthy green, small flowers poking out from the medium grass blades

Bushes with Berry's trees with fruit some trees didn't have any fruit some were big, small curved or thick skinny and straight

The little forest was one of the most beautiful places with birds chirping sheep bah-ing and cows mooing

As you walked into a village

the villages didn't look fancy nor poor the houses looked homey, just the perfect amount of people in a small village

Some were talking to friends there were shop owners, kids, parents even animals were in the village

It looked like such a good home but she couldn't live here there sure weren't any homes available it looked like a small village not one of those big ones with multiple houses there only looked enough for one of each for the villagers

Some of the houses were big some were small

Your legs were tired from all the walking not to mention your bruises haven't healed from those training fights with the blade

People passed you. looks of confusion along with feared looks from the kids

It's a small town everyone knows everyone, a new face was easily spotted

People were staring and whispering, children hid behind their parents

You dragged your feet, sore legs, back and arms all sluggish

An elderly woman had approached you, a worried look on her face as she looked at your pained expression

"Are you alright hun?" She asked in a sweet voice she probably was one of those grandmas that baked cookies for her grandkids or passed out hard candies to little kids

"Yeah I'm fine" you gave the sweet old lady a smile

She frowned her eyebrows "clearly your not, your gritting your teeth and your legs are wobbly." Her voice going stern "come with me" she said making a follow motion with her finger

You did as told, for some reason you didn't wanna disobey her or make the sweet lady upset

"My name is Martha, and you hun?" Her tone was no longer stern but back to her sweet self as she waddled her way to a house that you could only guess was hers?

"Oh, I'm [Y/n] nice to meet you, Martha," you said walking through the door that Martha held open for you cracking your knuckles

"Take a seat on the couch hun, would you like anything to drink?" Martha walked to the kitchen shouting out to the younger female

"A glass of water if that's fine of course" you took glanced around the room looking at all the antiques, photos and other stuff

Martha walked out of her kitchen with a lemonade and a glass of water with flower-shaped ice cubes in it putting the two cups on the birch table

"Thank you, Martha" she gave you a nod

"So are there any wounds you want me to check? " she asked

"Uh I have a few bruises on my back it's not major honestly" you started to re-crack your fingers. No cracks came out of it but you still tried

"May I see?" The gentle tone was nice it reminded you of your friends whenever you were down they would use that exact time to cheer you up, you gave her a nod

"Give me a second ill get some bandages for you" she git up once again going into a hallway and then coming back with a medical box

You turned your back to her lifting your shirt enough for your whole back to be seen, you still made sure your front area was covered

"Oh" was all Martha let out a whisper there were different bruise shades on your back from purple to brown, somehow a yellowish colour blue and some red marks here and there

You never bothered to treat them for the only reason you didn't think it was that bad, it's not like you could turn your head and look at it

"This may hurt alright I'm gonna put a cream that will ease the pain," she said as you heard the box open

"Okay, OW" you screamed the last part out Martha said a few 'sorry' each time she rubbed the cream in more

After that was done she started to wrap your whole back in bandages

"Thank you very much, Martha " you let out a sigh of relief. your back didn't hurt when you stood up" can I do anything for you as repayment?" You asked her lifting an eyebrow

"You can stay here since it's late as for repaying me  there's no need for that hun" she smiled looking at your face "are you sure? I got some coins on me" she shook her head "it's fine now follow me ill show you were your gonna sleep for tonight" she got up walking to the hallway

You got up quickly and followed her

"Thank you again, you are very nice," you said as she let out a chuckle

"Thank you hun" she stopped at a door, opened it and ushered you inside

"I hope you enjoy your stay," she said as she closed the door

You were stuffed she was a good cook but kept making way too much for two people you didn't want to seem rude so you ate what she gave you

Sitting down on the bed taking your shoes off, while groaning out

A knock was heard as she slowly opened the door "sorry to interrupt you but there are some clothes you can use while staying here, the pyjamas are In the bottom draw, good night" she whispered to you as she quickly closed the door and shut it

After changing into the nightwear that was provided you lifted the covers over you and went to sleep

As you bid a farewell to the older woman walking down a gravel path

You felt fresh you took a shower and changed into a new pair of clothes which was a nice pastel yellow sweater under it a white button-up, light blue jeans and to go with it comfortable white sneakers with it, your clothes you were wearing a day ago were in your bag clean just in case you needed to change into it if your new clothes got dirty

An hour or two into the walk you heard a loud groan and a thud

Sure you were trained by someone as powerful as the blood God that doesn't mean your mum didn't raise a pussy and you knew that, you were proud of it too
