Marissa POV
I can't believe what he just asked me. How is it that he knows that? What do I say to him? I can't lie because I'm sure he would be able to tell but, why is he asking me? The more i thought I started to get angry. He doesn't have the right to ask me something like that. I know he's my boyfriend but everyone has a right to their own secrets
"Excuse me?" i asked
"Did you give Jacob..."
"Don't say it. I heard what you said. How could you ask me something like that?"
"Because I want to know, so is it true or isn't it?"
"That's none of your business Chresanto and i am not obligated to answer that question" I got up and went into the kitchen and washed my hands so i could start on dinner
"So it is true?" he asked following me
"You know what, I don't have to sit through this. I'm leaving" I didn't bother to dry my hands i just grabbed my things and headed for the door
"So he was right" Chresanto said just as i was about to walk out
"he who?"
"Marissa how could you?" he asked completely ignoring my question "Who else have you sucked up? Ray, Craig"
"Why are you speaking to me like this?"
He once again ignored my question and just scoffed. But what came after that broke my heart into pieces
"You're just a hoe" Yeah that hurt. It sent my mind back years ago to those days when my step-father would call me that terrible name. I felt a tear fall and it snapped me back to reality. I looked at Chresanto. He had a look of disgust in his eyes. He looked at me as if i was a peice of dirt and that was all. As if nothing we ever shared and talked about ever happened. It made me feel really really bad
"Goodbye Chresanto" i left out the door. Leaving a trail of tears behind me. I heard Kia calling after me but i didn't stop. I couldn't, instead i just sped off
Chresanto POV
What did you do!!!" Kiara yelled at me
"i didn't do anything"
"Then why did Mary leave here crying?"
"Don't worry about it Kiara"
"Whatever. i just know that she better be here tomorrow" Kiara walked up the stairs but slammed her door shut. What exactly just happened? Did i really say what i think I said? Did i really just call her a hoe?
[The next day]
I walked into my first period irritated as hell. i didn't pick up Ray or Marissa. Going into class mad had everyone staring at me
"What the hell are you looking at?" i asked no one in particular. just to everyone that was looking at me. They all just turned around and continued minding their business
Mary walked in. I had no intentions of making eye contact, which i didn't. She didn't sit anywhere by me. Instead she went all the way to the other side of the classroom. She put her earphones in her ears and didn't look at me not once
"Aww are their problems in love bird city?" i looked up and seen Laney. She sat on top of my desk and crossed her legs. They looked really good in her skirt and heels. i couldn't help but look at them. But i realized who i was talking to and snapped out of it.
"What do you want?"
"i just want to help." she said
"Well I don't want or need your help"
