Ball night finally arrived. All the school was excited. The youngest had a muggle movies night organised in another part of the castle, so they wouldn't feel let apart. Most of older students were all getting ready in their respective rooms. Some others were practicing dance steps in the corridors and few girls were going crazy about outfits problems. With my roomates, we reunited in our dormitory to help and advice each others.
I was happy to finally put on the white dress and brand hight heels I bought in France. It was a beautiful long piece with loose shoulder's straps. I decided to make my look a bit more rock'n'roll by adding black lipstick.
When I got out from bathroom, girls made stunned faces.
"What ? What !" I asked in worry.
"Wow..."
Poppy articulated : "You're gorgeous Bella."
"You're hot, girl" exclaimed Anna.
"You look like a bride." Added Milicent.
Embarrassed, I declined : "Haha thanks but I just chose a plain white. You're all beautiful too ! Milicent, this black dress suits you, it was a good choice."

Moranna had a gray dress with lacework on the skirt and Poppy wore the mint one fund at Hogsmeade's shop.
I finished my style by wearing my birthday's jewel.
"Should I do my hair up in bun ?" I asked.
"Oh yes ! It would show your naked back." encouraged Anna. "And would you make me a braid ?"
I accepted kindly.
"What outfit did Tracey chose ?" I inquired.
"Not a dress, clearly ! She hates those."
Poppy and I were happy that the two of them finally get closer. They agreed to dance together, even if they were not yet a real couple.

When we were all ready, we got down to the common room, several students looked at us and we looked at them. Everyone was well pampered. Few younger students were still there, like Ezra and Peter, who opened wide mouth of admiration. I tried to forget it instantly and my eyes searched around for my date... None of our usual male peers seemed to be here. Poppy went quickly to knock at Blaise-Crabbe-Goyle-Malfoy's room and came back.
