Time

You prepared dinner and she was home after her shift. She greeted you and did not kiss you yet kasi nga pandemic so the Doctor washed up first.

"Hal, can you pass me the towel?" She asked.

You went and get the towel from the cabinet. "Thank you, mwah!" Silip niya from the bathroom door.

"I don't want you to get germs eh kaya long distance kiss muna hahaha!" She joked.

"Hay nako, ang kulit mo, finish your bath first baka ginawin ka at magkasakit."

"Hal, hindi naman ako magkakasakit from cold but from germs at saka matibay kaya 'to." She boasted as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Oo na po, sige na, umaandar nanaman pagkadoktor mo, bath faster para maka-eat na tayo." You said as it became a tradition to always eat with each other when natatapos ang shift.

You waited sa dining table and she came down with wet hair, ang pogi at ang ganda niya at the same time.

She kissed you and you still felt giddy like the first time you met her.

"Hal, can we go to sleep na?" You asked your wife. "Later na, I'm doing a digest pa. You go first na lang." Sabi ni Tricia.

You pouted and began to play on your phone dahil tapos ka naman sa case digest mo.

You played PUBG on your phone and saw that you were almost number one kaso na-snipe ka ng taong puno ng adrenaline ang bungo.

"Hal, please let's go na."

"Later na po ako, I told you to go to sleep first, masama sa health mo 'yan."

"Eh ikaw din naman eh, it's bad for your health." You nagged at your wife na focused.

"Fine, fine, malapit na matapos. Umaandar nanaman pagkaabogado ng baby ko. Hahaha!" She said as she laughed at her joke.

You watched the tv for about 1 hour and 30 minutes as it played some cartoons while Tricia is perservering sa mga readings niya.

"Hehehe! Woohhh!" You copied Rigby's shout.

"Ay sorry hehe." As you saw Tricia look at you and you turned it off.

"When are you going to finish?" You asked her, "Lapit na." She answered again.

The questions asked were the same and the answer was too.

You got a chair and tumabi ka na lang sa kaniya. "Hal, ano 'yan?" Tanong mo.

"Readings, love." She said and kissed your forehead. You just looked at her and saw the love for her patients, you were in awe on how could you marry her, apaka-perfect!

You were zoned out for about five minutes. "Ah!" Nagulat ka ng halikan ka ni Dra. Tricia.

"Why?" You asked with droppy eyes. "Tara na, you seem so sleepy na talaga." She said as she stood up and carried you sa bed.

"Love, I love you, I'm super lucky na sa'yo ako." You said and she kissed your lips at tumabi na sa iyo.

"I love you the most, darling. Honey, mas luckiest ako. You've always supported me despite my shortcomings." You cuddled after your wife sincerely say those words.

"Naku nambola pa, you're like that too! Love you." You said. She went closer sa'yo. She was tall pero you fit to her like a missing puzzle piece.

You slept like a baby in her arms.

4 am in the morning, you were still sleepy but you felt that Tricia wasn't by your side and hinanap mo.

She wasn't there sa table niya sa room niyo nor sa bathroom. You stood up and went to her office and voila! She was there reading her cases.

"Hmm, tatakas ka pa talaga." You said. Walking up to her and she gave you a hug and napansin mong walang upuan.

"Oh ano? Tatambay ka nanaman dito?" She asked and you nodded as you smiled sheepishly.

"Love, it's almost morning and you haven't rested up yet." She scolded you. 

"I just want to spend time with you." You said as you pouted. "Talaga ba, charmaine?" She asked jokingly.

"Huh? Sino si Charmaine? Ikaw ha, JP. Hindi ka talaga matutulog sa kwarto." You raised your brow.

"Meme iyon love. Meme." She said.

"Ay nako tatampururot nanaman siya. Sorry na puee.." She poked to your sides.

"Eh bahala ka riyan." You said as you sat sa sahig. "Love, don't sit there maalikabok." She said as you know na she doesn't want you to get dirtied, mas pipiliin pa kasi ni Tricia na siya maputikan kaysa raw sa'yo.

You shooked your head. "Ah ganoon?" She said before standing up.

"Wahh! What are you doing?" You asked. "Relax, just sit on me and make kapit." She winked.

"Bastos ah." You said as you snuggled sa neck niya. You were sitting on her lap and facing the back view of Tricia.

"Hahaha! Double meaning lang, sorry." She said as you rubbed her suot na white t-shirt sa likod.

"Love, how are you?" You asked. "Okay lang naman ako, hawak ko ang pinaka-precious sa buong buhay ko." She said sincerely.

"Hindi ka ba napapagod sa atin?" You asked again while she continued to type and she shook her head. "No, why? Wala namang reason para mapagod and if ever I'm burnt out, edi I'll take a break with you." Sinsero niya muling saad habang nagta-type ng readings..

"Just asking.." She slightly pushed you away from her lap and looked at you.

"Are you okay?" She asked and you nodded at her remark.

You took off her glasses as she wrapped her arm at your waist, her free arms had cupped your cheeks and made you kiss her.

"Your eyes are very beautiful, hon." You said. "You're my eyes, love." She said as you went back to snuggling in her neck.

You fell asleep as your wife let you sit and sleep in her lap as you cuddled with her in the swivel chair, Tricia still made time for you while finishing her tasks. You appreciate and will cherish her forever..

"Hi hal! I've prepared breakfast for you!" You woke up and saw Tricia got you a breakfast in bed. "Totoo ba ito? Hindi panaginip?"

"Hahaha! Of course, totoo ako, I took an off to spend the day with you, sorry wala ako masyado time." She shyly scratched the back of her head. "I understand naman, parehas tayong nagmamahal sa bayan and making things better for all Filipinos." You answered. "Oh eat na, I have plans for us today!" She said.

You smiled as Tricia always made efforts to just make you feel that you are loved, there maybe shortcomings from the both of you but you loved each other the same.
