Remus Twin Sister

Hogwarts Letters

The Lupin twins are 11 years old, they are always together as Luna is afraid to leave Remus alone in fear he'll hurt himself. Their lives are about to change for the better.

         " Kids breakfast is ready come down and eat." Hope called to her children. The twins quickly rushed to the table still in their pajamas. They sat at the table as their mother put food in front of them and began eating. 

       " Letters came for you two." Lyall said as he sat at the head of the table with the daily profit in his hand along with two letters addressed to his children. Lyall handed each of his kids their letters and watched with his wife as they opened them.

       " Hogwarts isn't that the school you went to dad?" Luna asked after she read her letter. Lyall nodded.

      " Yes and you two have been accepted and start in September." Lyall said. Luna smiled and was excited but her brother was a different story. Remus was worried as his furry little problem would make it where he can't go to school, but he didn't want his sister to suffer and stay with him.

     " I can't go dad you know this. No place will except me and I can't go knowing I might hurt people. Luna can go I will stay home and be taught by mom." Remus said depressed. Lyall looked at his son and sighed.

      "Remus." Lyall started but was cut off by his daughter.

       " I'm not going if Remus isn't. I can't leave my twin alone." Luna said hugging her brother. Remus smiled but then started to argue with his sister.

      " Remus is going. I've already spoken to the headmaster and he has a place Remus can go where it is safe for him to transform. Dumbledore will show you both when you get to school. Now go pack your things, September will be here before you know it." Lyall said as he chases his kids out of the kitchen.

    " Is this really what is best for them hunny?" Hope ask her husband.

     " There is not a safer place on this earth then Hogwarts. Dumbledore will protect them and help them. They also need to get away and meet kids their own age and not have to depend on each other so much. This will be good for then my love I promise." Lyall said kissing his wife on the forehead.

     " Remus I'm not going to Hogwarts without you." Luna said to her brother.

     " What if they tell me I can't go, or if someone finds out and thinks I'm a monster." Remus said.

     " You are not a monster Remus. Your my brother and you fold your socks, monsters don't fold their socks." Luna told her brother laughing.

     " I just don't want to hold you back Luna. This is my problem to live with not yours. You need to go make friends, learn to control your powers, and eventually find love." Remus said.

    " You need to do the same thing Remus, this can't hold you back forever." Luna said.

    " I can never find love and have children in fear of passing this on to them." Remus said.

    " We don't know how this works. You can have kids Remus and if it is passed down then they at least have someone to help them thru it." Luna said. Remus shook his head and buried it in the pillow he was laying on. Luna sighed and looked at the ceiling of their shared bedroom.

    " Its gonna be really weird not sharing a room with you anymore thou. " Luna said.

    " Yeah but i'm sure you'll share a room with other girls your age and you'll make friends." Remus said.

   " I'm not good at making friends that are girls Remus you know this." Luna said to her brother.

    " You don't have any friends besides me, How do you know your not good at it." Remus said.

   " We better get to packing. September will be here before you know it." Luna said acting as her father. The twins laughed and got their trunks out and started packing their cloths and books.
