11. Something new

Fluke woke up at 3 am according to the watch in the bedside table. He smiled to himself when he laid eyes on the other two people sleeping peacefully beside him: his mom and brother. They had a long talk hours before about fears and mistakes, shared a lot of their worries, but now he was finally feeling as light as a feather. He was loved and he loved them back in the same intensity. He kissed their heads and headed back to his room trying to make as little noise as it was possible.

When Fluke finally reached his childhood bedroom and locked the door, he was presented with a cute and funny scene: Ohm – huge as he was – had curled up to fit on his tiny bed, but was sleeping like a baby. It was so sweet he wished he could take a photo, but didn't want to wake up the other and quickly gave up on that idea.

Walking cautiously so he wouldn't make any noise, Fluke sat up next to Ohm and noticed the poor man was drenched in sweat. "Oh my God, you're all wet, my love!", he said and hurried to the window to open it a little bit and let the cold breeze come in. In a matter of seconds it was possible to feel the room's temperature changing. After doing that, he returned to the bed and laid there, rearranging the covers over them and hooking his arm around Ohm's waist.

Barely the smaller male knew that the other wasn't really sleeping. How could he, when he was so worried about him? But sensing things were probably better now, Ohm decided to play along until he saw the opportunity to tease his beloved one like he used to.

"Baby, are you taking advantage of me?", Ohm whispered – it wasn't necessary more than this to make himself heard in that small space between them.

"You wish, huh?", Fluke gave the strong shoulder a light tap and giggled low.

Ohm was feeling relieved after hearing that magical sound. Fluke's laugh was capable of making his heart swell up with love and adoration. He gave the smooth neck a sniff, cuddling closer and leaning his head on Fluke's shoulder. "Did you talk to them?"

Fluke nodded, which Ohm could only feel because of the position he was. "Yeah. We did. I'm gonna accept that scholarship. I was being overprotective, I guess", he sighed hard. "By the way, thank you, love…", Fluke kissed Ohm's silky strands of hair.

"Hmmm…"

"What?", Fluke asked confused.

"There is a better way for you to thank me, you know?", Ohm teased him, the light mood back at their conversation. He tipped his chin and with that his lips landed exactly on Fluke's sharped jaw. He gave it a kiss.

"On my childhood bedroom?!", Fluke asked startled once the realization hit him and he kinda felt Ohm getting excited under the covers.

"Why not? Have you ever slept with Tee here too?", Ohm pouted.

"Ohm!", Fluke gave him another tap, this time harder because he knew it was a provocation. Both lovers started to laugh, but Ohm wouldn't let the topic be changed that easily.

"What's the problem? I just wanna know!", he shrugged.

"I… we didn't, ok! I was just a kid when we were dating!", Fluke rolled his eyes even if Ohm couldn't see it in the dark. However, the taller one surely knew that his lover was doing exactly that, a warm feeling of familiarity warming up his heart. He loved that.

"Good!", he replied satisfied.

"Oh, is it?", now it was Fluke's turn to tease the other.

"Mhmm! Now I can be your first one here!", Ohm said and Fluke could swear he could see Ohm's pearly teeth shining as his lips stretched in a huge smile.
