Chapter 14

Y/n: To destroy this planet?

Baelz: No! What I'm setting up was a docking station.

Mumei: Wait so those weren't machines made to destroy Earth?

Baelz: No. 

Kronii: Sorry but, frankly we don't trust you enough to let you go.

Baelz: If I were you, I would tie her up.

Sana: Irys?

Baelz: I bet she told you about the Project HER thing.

Irys eaves dropped behind the door. 

Baelz: Project HER is the company that made me. We were supposed to be workers not soldiers. A war broke out between our countries that forced me to fight. I'm  a robot, I was programmed with empathy and feelings like any human would. 

Fauna: Then why did you run away?

Baelz: because I knew who Irys was. I didn't want to do anything with her.

I looked down, before I asked a question to Baelz.

Y/n: Tell us then, what is your true mission on Earth?

Baelz sighed.

Baelz: Set up docking stations in strategic locations, wait for a pod to arrive and scout for any threats.

Kronii: Pods? Who's coming?

Baelz: Extra people to help me research more about this planet and waiting the right time to introduce ourselves to humans.

I didn't know what to do. I walked outside to see Irys who was looking up at the stars.

Y/n: Irys I just-

Irys: There. My home universe.

I looked up to where she was pointing. It was a massive arrangement of stars in a circle like formation that I've never seen before.

Y/n: Woah, this. I've never seen the sky looking like this before.

Irys: Yeah. 

Y/n: Irys I don't know what to say. 

Irys: You don't need to, my mission is completed. 

Y/n: What?

Irys: I just need to bring Baelz back and everything will be over.

Y/n: Over?

Irys: Not yet, we'll just have to wait for Baelz to dismantle all the machines. Then I'll just open up a portal like last time.

Y/n: Last time...

-Flashback-

Irys: You better listen to me or else!

Irys: Do whatever I say. 

Irys: Gee you didn't need to come this far to help.

My mind suddenly filled with memories of me and Irys that we made together. This sudden influx of feelings...

-Flashback ends-

Y/n: Why don't you destroy the machines yourself?

Irys: I can't it requires a special tool and technique. 

Y/n: I understand.

Irys: Good.

I walked back inside, my heart feels numb. I saw Mumei asleep on the couch. I walked up next to the couch and just wonder what was going on in her head while she's sleeping.

Kronii: Hey, I think we should leave Baelz alone for now. 

I felt slightly worried about doing that. Even though I know that's the right thing to do.

Y/n: Are you sure?

Kronii: Yeah I talked to her about Irys and she said she'll be fine. I'm gonna tell Irys now.

We all left besides Kronii and Irys, they said it would be better if they didn't go back.

-Time skip-

I found out that Irys knew about the UNICOM that Baelz had all along. Turns out Irys wasn't tapping into her communications but blocking it. Baelz haven't gotten any chance to talk to her higher ups in months. Baelz told us that after she got her coms back it was all too late. Their government collapsed 3 weeks ago. We haven't seen Baelz  during the whole Christmas holiday. Irys and I assumed she got rescued by her team. 

Irys: Hey, wanna go on a date?
