It was many years later in the Packs that Starmber noticed which Pack Raven was in.
He was currently in EverestPack, the forest.
Starmber plopped down on the ground with a sigh.
Raven was still called Raven by some miracle.
But that wasn't Starmber's problem.
It was the fact that Shade was still missing.
Today they were to set out to see why cats were attacking other cats mindlessly.
Hopefully it'd give him a clue as to what happened to Shade that day, and if he was still alive or whether he was dead.
Starmber and the patrol set out, and he paused.
He smelled Shade.
"I'm heading this way."
He reported before running to the trail.
The cat smelled adult like, but like Shade.
And some sort of injection.
Memories pressed his thoughts.
Raven and Shade were playing two days from the time he would have to leave Raven.
Shade yet again was playing he had an injection.
"No Raven, like this!"
He meowed, pressing his stick end against his own fur.
Starmber purred happily at the kits getting along.
Though they'd be upset when he split them.
Shade was whispering, though he could make something out.
Something important.
That was it.
He wasn't playing, he really wanted to use injections.
But he smelled of blood and metal.
Shade was possibly very evil.
