She was only beautiful on the outside
They say "If you like the rose you have to accept the thorns."
The demons try, they really do
But they can never control us againThorns
They protect us
For they are nothing but whispers of a painful past
They shield us from the dark reign of those demonsAnd allow us to fully bloom
