I love you because I do
I don't know how, why or where it began
For love is bittersweet
It is evil.
It comes to an end.
It leaves you with scars.

Yet, it is the greatest and most gratifying thing in the world
It forces the dark clouds away and lets in the light
Who was I before? I can't quite recall
And quite frankly, I don't want to remember

They changes you in to a better person—
No, it makes you yourself
Because they inspire you

Even after a myriad of scars
You still wonder what stars aligned for you to deserve such a gift
But we'll never know
All we can do is cherish it
And let it bloom and grow like the fresh flora of spring...
