After 'Happily Ever After'

Beginning

I wake up in a room that is too bright, it has off white walls, white thick long curtains, and a mustard 2 seater couch opposite the bed.
There's 6 bouquets of flowers scattered between the bedside table, across the room and the other 2 on the floor.
Pink, yellow and white tulips, mixed
gerbera, sunflowers and African daisies, just everywhere.

What in the name...

"Welcome back mamazi" an elderly woman says with a huge smile on her face.
It quickly disappears when I look at her in question.
She came out from some door within the room, I'm beyond startled

Did she call me Mamazi? Where am I?

"Hello" she smiles again when I greet her.

"Oh, I'm so happy you're back, they told me not to speak with you directly" she says smiling

There's an awkward moment after she tries to hug me and I flinch so she stops instantly

" I'm sorry, oh I'm so sorry. Do you want me to get you something?" She asks stepping back

" What's going on mam" she seems alarmed by me calling her mam and backs out of the room with a simple

"I'll get the doctor"

What doctor? this can't be a hospital, it seems like someone's home.
I vaguely remember the fall out of Lufuno's car, I touch my head and feel the big bump on it but it's not too painful.
I slowly step out of the bed and my legs cooperate this time, good.
Other than the bump on my head, I physically feel fine.
My sanity and emotions are still questionable though

I walk around the room a little bit, this can't be a hotel it's too spacious. There's even a beautiful garden outside the window.

I can make out that I am on the second story of a private property, there's even a zebra walking down the road.

Wait! A Zebra?

Where the hell am I?!

"Oh hey you're awake, Jay said you should get comfortable so if there's anything you want. Please do let us know" Lufuno says behind me

"right now we have somebody collecting your car and belongings at your office" he continues when I say nothing back.

"The floor is really warm" I say somewhat distracted

"Do you like it? The lady who designed this house was very specific about it" he says as his smile broadens

"I like it"

"What's wrong, you have the same look you had when you decided to kiss the ground" he says chuckling

"I'm confused"

"It happens, the bathroom and closet are over there. Freshen up and come down stairs for dinner.
You already have a bump on your head, no need to give Jay more reason to hate us" he says chuckling again

It's strange that in the mist of everything. The one thing that I can't get over is how beautiful this black wooden floor is and how I love the fact that it's warm.

"Thank you, I'll be right down" he nods when I say this and leaves

I walk over to the open door that leads to the bathroom.
What I initially thought was a bathroom is actually a wall that takes you to 2 separate closets.

On my right, it seems like a HIS closet. There are suits lined up, shoes, male shirts, a lot of drawers and a small couch. The floor is also black but instead of wood, it's marble.

Black marble is rare, I've never seen it in person
Opposite the HIS closet, is a woman's closet, they are several nicely packed shoes and a dresser with lit up mirrors. It's something out of a magazine. There's 3 vases with flowers, pink roses, white tulips and a sunflower mix bouquet
