The next morning, y/n went to her company in which she worked as an actress to tell the news to them. She could not perform high energy stunts anymore in order to keep the baby safe. She also announced the break she would take by the end of the pregnancy period.
Everyone was so delighted to hear the news. All her directors, stylist, fellow actors and actresses and the crew gave her flowers and sweet wishes. Y/n asked them not to tell the media yet to which they agreed without hesitation.
She went out with her fellow actor best friend for lunch to a cafe down town, near to Hyunjin's company.
Surprisingly, Hyunjin and his assistant were there as well, just about to leave the cafe.
"Boss, isn't that Mrs.Hwang?" Hyunjin's secretary asked
Hyunjin saw them eating lunch at the cafe. There was also a flower bouquet on the table. However, he just smiled and turned to this secretary.
"I trust y/n. She's probably hanging out with her crew again" he spoke and walked to his car
His secretary smiled seeing how much their couple relationship was strong. Hyunjin and y/n truly got the best partners in the world.
Hyunjin returned home early after his company's meetings today during the evening. He saw the living room dimmed out. Only small lights in the kitchen and dinning table were there.
He walked to the dining table to see cables set up in a romantic mood. Y/n was humming her favorite song and turned to see Hyunjin
"Are we having a us night tonight?" Hyunjin smirked
"Nope" y/n answered
"Oh, I thought you were putting up so much effort with all this candle light dinner for that" he spoke
"Can't I do something sweet for my hubby. Anyways, there some news I want to announce too" y/n spoke
"is it something about your job!" He asked
She shook head as a no. Hyunjin's face turned serious.
"Are you planning on leaving me?" He asked sadly.
Y/n knew how much insecure he was when it came to these things. She always tried to reassure him. Buy the news she was about to break would definitely reassure him that she would never leave him.
"Hey hey, why would I leave such an amazing husband and my childhood best friend" y/n spoke
"Thank god! What is it then" hyunjin asked eagerly
"Let's have dinner first, I'm starving" y/n spoke
They sat down on the dinner table and ate. Y/n ate twice as much as she usually would. Hyunjin did not care at all because whatever y/n wanted, she could do. He didn't have any concerns or rules.
Finally, y/n made him cut the cake as dessert and at the top of it in icing was written: To the start of a new journey, baby.
"Huh? What does this mean?" Hyunjin asked obviously
"Idiot! Read the last word of the sentence" y/n backhugged him
"Baby.....WAIT.....ARE WE...I...YOU'RE PREGNANT??" he asked with pure happiness
Y/n nodded smiling at his puppy eyes. It was like a little kid saw candy.
"You are going be a dad" she spoke softly in his ear
He got up from his chair and lifted her up, spinning her around carefully, so elated. He set her down and hugged her, tears dropping from his eyes.
"This is one of the best days of my life!" He spoke, rubbing his head in her hair
