Chapter 2

"So..." y/n raised her brow

Y/n had returned home from Lisa's house and she was curious to know what Lisa's mother had told her. She stood at the kitchen counter holding her glass of water while she interrogated her own mother.

"Y/n, I'm sorry for hiding this from you, but..... I have a boyfriend" her mom said

Y/n, who was drinking water, spit it all out and choked on it as well. Her eyes were wide as the moon as she thought what she heard was correct or not.

"Say what!?" y/n spoke

"How? When? Why? Who? Where? Answer." y/n

"Calm down. He's a guy-"

"Of course he's a guy, he can't be a woman cuz you aren't gay. Answer me, all my questions"

"We met at my workplace, during when my company and his had a collaboration together. And he made the first move, he gave me flowers"

"What's his name" y/n asked, still not satisfied

"Kim Jaekyun, he's really kind and sweet" her mom answered

"We'll see about that" y/n huffed

"We started dating 5 months a-"

"5 WHAT MONTHS?! AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF TELLING YOUR ONE AND ONLY OWN DAUGHTER, I feel betrayed"

"Don't be dramatic honey"

"Dramatic? Oh you haven't seen dramatic yet mom" y/n said, emphasizing the word 'mom'

"So will you accept it? Please my daughter" her mom pleaded

Y/n never thought she'd have a new dad again one day. She never really thought about any of this. Her old dad left her...what if this one leaves too? What if because of her new dad, her mom decides to leave her!?

"Oh come on you're overthinking y/n! Stop making a fuss of your trust issues and let your mom get the lost happiness she deserves after so many years" y/n thought

"Besides, if she's happy, I'm happy. And this just might be a new beginning" she thought happily

"Y/n? Respond?" her mom asked

"Oh..yeah, yeah I accept this relationship! I'm so happy for you mom. When will we meet him??" She asked eagerly

"Thank you y/n! We'll go to his house tomorrow for dinner if that's fine?"

"Yes!"

"Alright. Go eat your dinner and get to bed, don't stay up all night watching those kdramas again" her mom face palmed herself

"I won't" y/n lied smiling

Y/n ate her dinner, kimchi fried rice and cheesecake for desert. Then, she went upstairs to do her homework but got distracted midway in kpop idol posts and then had to study again.

She called Lisa at late night to tell her about the new gossip.

"Wait so you're mom's getting married?! Congrats" Lisa cheered

"We'll not yet but even if so then I'll be happy for her" y/n spoke

"Hey and listen, tomorrow let's meet up with the others in that nearby cafe for the project. Tell hyunjin and Jihun for me, I need to do important businesseu" y/n spoke

"Okkk! Bye!" Lisa ended the call

Y/n sat down on her bed ready to do important businesseu. She took out her laptop and she opened the...kdrama website.

Time skip from 11pm to 12am
"Ah let's watch one more episode and go to bed" y/n spoke to herself

Time skip from 12am to 1am
"Just one more *yawns* episode" she spoke

Time skip from 1am to 2am
"Ohhh I wanna know so bad what happens! Just one more" Y/n spoke sleepily

After some minutes, she felt hungry, so she went into the kitchen to hunt for snacks. Unfortunately, none was left.

"I'll die from hunger. It's time I sneak out" y/n whispered to herself

AT THE STORE
She went inside the store and grabbed some snacks. She reached out to take the last banana milk but someone else took it and was way faster than her.

"Can I have that last one please!" Y/n pleaded to the stranger

"My brother likes that, so I won't give it to you" he spoke

"But it's my favorite! Your brother can wait right!? Tell him you gave it up for once!!!!" Y/n asked

"Nah" he shook his head

Y/n did what she had to. She showed her puppy eyes which no one could resist to ignore until today.

"Ugh fine just take it" he spoke

That man looked like he was in a bad mood and was tired. She noticed that and gave him a big bear hug. She has a big thing for hugs anyways.

The stranger didn't hug back because he was shook. No one ever did that to him because of who he was. But this girl didn't know that...

"I'm sorry but I think you were in a bad mood, hugs can help...anyways byeeee" y/n spoke

She ran away after keeping the money on the counter as she didn't know how the stranger would react.

The back door opened and another man appeared.

"Namjoon, did you get Jungkook's milk? We need to go home" the man spoke

"Oh...none is left" Namjoon spoke

"It's fine, let's just go now! We're getting late" the man spoke

"Ok let's go" Namjoon replied

The man walked outside into the limo. Namjoon looked back one last time before he also got in the limo.
