"I don't understand why we're getting this off again! If we had to at least do it during the lesson, but no. Of course we have to sacrifice our precious break for it!" Rolling her eyes, Momo complained quietly to her best friend, who nodded in agreement. "Then I'll most likely have to wait another two hours before I can finally eat." A sigh slid across YN's lips, whose stomach began to growl as if on cue, but neither grinned at it this time. Instead, they were in too deep a rage, as their art teacher had given him the task for decorating the school, which they were supposed to take time for during recess. Negotiations were out of the question, and by then the woman had left and was nowhere to be found.

"That's her job not ours." Momo's fingers literally clawed into the fabric handles of the bag containing the deco in question, for which they were now responsible.

"Girls, wait a minute!" The school's janitor Mr. Bang waved hysterically, not even getting behind quickly when he still had to carry a ladder to take to the two girls. Mrs. Kim had let him know and expected him to do his job as quickly as possible.

Jerking to a halt, Momo and YN glanced over their shoulders and both had to stifle a soft sigh. The big ladder only emphasized what kind of work they would have to do.

"Thank you," Momo pressed out as Mr. Bang handed them the ladder before he himself got out of the way as well, since there was still plenty of other work on his docket that wouldn't wait. One of the guys toilets was clogged again, and though Mr. Bang would prefer to avoid it, he knew he couldn't avoid it.

"Let's do it then, huh?" A faint life formed on YN's lips as she looked questioningly at Momo, who nodded in reply.

The only good thing was that there weren't many students in the same hallway as the two of them. They were probably hanging out in the cafeteria or lounge, which only suited Momo and YN. Neither of them felt like being gawked at or having the derogatory words spoken over them. They both rather loved to work in silence and the fear of someone knocking over the ladder was so gone as well.

YN hurried to set up the ladder. Right under their first clue, which was marked by old spring decorations, which they were to exchange for those of summer. "Are you going up, Momo? I'm honestly scared." Scratching the back of her neck, YN looked past Momo, who seemed to have blurred in a sea of thought, as it took her several minutes to respond; with a counter question. "What did you say?" Angry at her for that, YN instead calmed herself down with a deep breath so she didn't let Rage go off again.

Finally, Momo nodded. "Sure, I can do it."

While YN held the ladder by her legs as best she could, promising Momo a secure grip, the slowly scrambled up each staircase; bag in tow. Uncertainly, the black-haired risked a look down, where her best friend stood and smiled at her encouragingly.

The old things slowly fell to the floor, while Momo fished something new out of the bag. A crafted sun that was entwined with in several leaves, while open spaces offered a view through. "Things don't look bad," Momo muttered more to herself, to which YN nodded in agreement nonetheless, her ears having caught the phrase.

It could have all gone so peacefully. If it weren't for those stupid seventh graders who had no respect for the rules and ran amusedly down the hallways, laughing loudly and also ignoring the ladder, on which not only a high school graduate stood and provided a foothold, but another one even used the people. Neither the small children had respect for the rules of the school, nor for their fellow men, so they carelessly bumped into YN and the ladder, which caused it to falter and Momo to kick into nothingness in fright.

It was not to be expected that she would fall. And right on top of YN, who was holding her aching head and would have loved to start crying. Not necessarily because of pain (although this one was pretty deep and disgusting in her head), but because of the general situations. Out of anger. Out of frustration. And yes, out of pain, too.

Momo almost exploded. More on the inside, after all, she quickly got up from YN, on which she had been lying a moment ago, and helped her best friend up.

"Okay, I honestly don't care if we get in trouble or not right now, but let's go finish off those stupid kids! And after that I'll take you to the nurse, you don't look too good..."
