Dear Zayn,

Do you remember when we went to the beach and a bunch of fans came over to greet you? Their faces were priceless at that moment because they were meeting their idol. You stood their for two hours signing stuff for them an I sat on a beach towel and watched as you laughed with them. I'll never forget the way your fans could make you so happy.

I'll also never forget the way they made you so sad. I remember when I walked into your room one night and tears cascaded down your face as you stared at your phone. A different breed of "fans" we're calling you a terrorist and saying you were the worst member of One Direction. I came over and held you tight as you sobbed in my arms. At that moment I knew I loved you, and I knew I wanted to be with you forever. Finally, you had opened up to me and I knew there was no going back now.

Since that moment, you have told me everything that bothered you, whether it was as simple as the weather, or as complex as your feelings about your past, you told me about it the best you could. I also told you everything.

Harry used to tell me all the time how much he adored us. He would tell me how he couldn't wait for something like us. Of course, he mentioned how he couldn't wait for the sex full of love like we had, supposedly. I guess you had been a Chatty Cathy, but I don't mind.

Now, we don't talk at all. Your words never seep through my ears. You never sing me to sleep. You never tell me your greatest dreams. You never ask me what's on T.V. Or what the weather will be today. I can hardly listen to the radio anymore. I just sit in silence as if someone has stolen my car radio because every song reminds me of you mixing up the words and singing completely out of tune.

Although this is selfish, I wish you'd at least talk to me. I wish you'd text me or call me, maybe even leave a not at my front door or in my mailbox. Just drop by and say hello, so that I know you're alright, physically at least.

If you don't want to be together anymore I suppose I could learn to understand. If you just need to move past everything that has to do with One Direction, then tell me. If you're going to tell me that you need to move on, then please tell me you don't love me also because that'll make things a little easier.

Love,

Diana.
