Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Alana's POV

I pulled into the parking lot and parked where I usually do. Right next to my best friend’s cars. Ally's new pink 2010 Porsche Boxter, that her parents got her for her 16 birthday, was on the left and Kimmi's cute yellow 2010 VW Bug, that matched her personality perfectly (bright and bubbly), was on the right. Not only was it right next to my best friends but it was across the lot from Nick's usual spot, where I could crush from a far, just the way I liked it. Well put up with is more like it.

"Hey" I said as I got out of my car. "You guys ready for Friday movie night?" I asked them. "Ooh yeah!!" Kimmi exclaimed. "I was planning on bringing the new Saw movie, if that's all right with you two?" Ally answered. Gosh, those movies freaks me out. If it didn't make them happy I would have just said HELL NO but I liked it when they had fun so I agreed. I'll just hide behind a pillow the whole time, I thought to myself.

"I wish we could go to that party tonight!" Kimmi complained. "What party?" I asked. "Jason Rodwell's party. Everyone is going to be there." Ally replied. "I bet Nick's going to be there too." Kimmi added suggestively. Of course my best friends knew about my 4 year crush. I'm surprised the whole school doesn't know, let alone Nick himself.

"Well nobody invited us." I said avoiding Kimmi's "Nick" comment. "So? We should just go and see how it turns out!" Kimmi answered. "Well we can talk about it later. School's going to start and I don't want to be late and I doubt either of you want to be." I said with a smirk on my face. "Yeah lets get to class." Ally suggested. "Fine" Kimmi said reluctantly, crossing her arms. I chuckled and headed off towards my first class, Foods. Yummy.

I walked through the parking lot past Nick and Jason. Gosh why did I have to like someone that didn't even know I existed. It really sucked. The only guy I could see was Nick and the only person Nick didn't see was me. Or at least it seemed like that.

I made it to my locker and grabbed my recipe book and my physics book. I closed my locker only to find Andy, the basketball teams shooting guard standing there looking at me. Great...

I've known Andy since middle school. He's always messed with me and acted like he liked me but in all honesty I think he was just trying to score.

"What do you want Andy?" "Hey, hey cant a guy talk to his friend without feeling unwelcome?" Came from his egotistical mouth. "Not to be too harsh, but we aren't friends and you are unwelcome" Jeez I'm mean around him. "Well lets be friends then?" Andy retorted. "Why would you want to be friends with me?" I asked. "Do I need a reason?" "Goodbye Andy" I said as I started to walk away. "Come on? I was just going to ask if you would come to a party with me tonight? You could wear something small to show off that body." Andy said while looking up and down me. "No thank you." I answered as I finally got away.

Thankfully I was a couple minutes early to class. I stepped in and took my seat.
