Chapter 5

Alana’s POV

I saw Nick walk in right on time as always. Yes, I have class with Nick he's in both of my electives (small engines being the other) yet he still never noticed me. He took his seat next to his cooking partner, Mark. Mark was quiet but he was a great help in the kitchen so everybody wanted him as a partner, but I always wanted Nick as a partner… Cheesy I know but that's just how my heart is. No offence to my cooking partner Jenni. She was a great cook and was very helpful when it came down to challenging recipes.

Class began and it went on like every other day, our teacher, Ms. Flynn explains her obsession with food and gives us a new recipe to study for next class. All in all it is a great class and I always have a really fun time.

After class, we had a quick break so I walked to my locker where I found Ally waiting for me. We have our next class together. Physics. We both greeted each other. I opened my locker and put my recipe book inside and then we both headed off to our class.

In physics, we learned about the technology of the way Nerf guns shoot and how fast the darts travel. I love my physics teacher. She is so upbeat and fun. It really makes the class a lot easier given the fact that both me and Ally were in Advanced physics along with five other students in our class.

The class went on and Ally and I ended up having a Nerf war that inspired a couple of the students and even the teacher to join in.

After all the darts were picked up and the excitement had settled, I got all my stuff ready to go as did everyone else. When the bell rang Ally and me went to find Kimmi for lunch.

"How was class you two?" Kimmi asked once we found her. "It was fun." Ally answered. "How was foods?" Kimmi asked me. "Just like every other day. We cook and I crush on Nick like a love struck weirdo." I replied. "You're not a weirdo. I think its cute that you like him." Ally stated. "Why don't you just talk to him?" Kimmi questioned. "Are you crazy? He doesn't even know I exist!" I said.

Right then Nick walked into the hall we had been standing in. "If you don’t talk to him right now me an Ally wont come over tonight and you'll have to spend your weekend alone!" Kimmi threatened. "A little harsh don’t you think?" I asked "Go talk to him!" Kimmi said and pushed me towards him. "No I cant!" I exclaimed.

I heard someone clear his or her throat so I turned around and there I was standing right in front of Nick. Oh gosh...
