Hawks.

Everyone on campus knew that name. Well, his nickname at least.

Keigo Tamaki.

That was his real name, but people knew him as Hawks. That's also how you knew him.

Hair alway combed back, a smile that had people falling to their knees, dimples, honey golden eyes, and money to burn. There was always a beautiful girl wrapped around his gold decorated pinkie.

Honestly the list could go on.

But, what people knew him by-

Was the things he sold.

Sure, not only did he have the looks. He always had a wonderful reputation. But he sold what people craved, what people couldn't get.

Drugs.

Not the kind that you'd find on the streets, the scary kind. The ones you were sure to stay away from. The type that your parents didn't even warn you about. Those types of drugs.

The scary kind.

Well, scary to you at least. All drugs were scary to you.

Everyone addressed it as candy, purely because of the fact that it looked like candy. Some of the strongest anyone could ever find. Of course, that wasn't the only thing he sold, but it was always the most popular.

He had money, looks, and power. Practically ran the whole University.

That's an exaggeration, but sometimes that's what it felt like.

The distant whispers, the talk around his nickname, people trying to find out what party he was going to attend. It was always unfortunate for people who just wanted to party and ended up going to one Hawks attended.

Hawks' father held a strong financial standing, so every professor and staff always made sure to kiss Hawks' ass.

That's just- how it was.

And he knew that. He was so self-centered and full of himself it was dislikable. Such a high standard for anyone he met, and judgemental to a pulp. He hid it, but that's how he really was.

Sure, you've had a weird appeal to Hawks. Everyone did! But it's never been something you've truly thought about. It was just like a -how do you put this- a friendly admiration!

Yeah, that seemed about right!

You just thought he was a cute boy in your class. So, you never really thought about it.

And, well-

He probably didn't even know you.

Probably didn't know you exist. But, that was fine. He was a hallway crush that was never going to happen. And, you never wanted it to happen.

You were too sweet, too innocent, too kind and forgiving for Hawks. Emphasis on the innocent part. The two of you were polar opposite at that.

Yet, that didn't stop you from talking about how cute he is to your best friend Rumi from time to time. Who also happened to be your favorite roommate out of the four.

"I don't know, s'just- something about his smile." You said giggling, recalling a time he smiled at his girlfriend. Or, who you thought was his girlfriend. "That girl that he was with- what was her name?.." You thought for a moment, looking away from your computer. Taking a moment to stop doing your assignment and think. "Jessie, Jackie.." You looked at Rumi.
