Soule's

I woke up with a wide smile on my face. Its finally D-day! I immediately jumped out of bed and was even whistling while taking a bath. I looked at my pacheko, my extra ordinary fan that can't be used by humans. This will be the last time I'll be seeing my pacheko! I clasped my hands and happily danced in the shower.

"Soule!"

I heard the voice of my one and only servant, Lea. I snapped my fingers to turn off the water in my shower. What does she need this time? Is it to congratulate me? I doubt so. Every time Lea calls me by my name, its either I'm doomed or I'm doomed. There's no other reason.

"What?! I'm busy!" I shouted back at her and turn on the shower again.

Being a grim reaper means I get to live in a normal apartment doing normal things such as showering, eating, sleeping or anything that humans do. This is the last time I'm doing my job as a grim reaper because the higher ups promised me that if I get to finish escorting 10,000 souls I will be reincarnated as a human.

If a normal person ever saw me celebrating by the fact that I will get a chance to live again they will think that it is weird. As I escorted so many souls, I've also learnt a lot how human thinks and how their world works. Most of them committed suicide. So in conclusion, they hate it here.

However, me, a special, handsome, gifted creature, Soule Hayden thinks otherwise. I envy them for having to taste different sorts of foods and the fact that it is never ending, because humans kept on inventing new one so they always have something new. The busy road they take when they go to work, I find it amusing. Knowing where to go and knowing what to do as soon as you get there. Plus the fact that you get paid for the hard work you invested. Its a win win situation! Also, the little things. The little things I noticed in their world. The smell of books when I once visited their library. The smell of coffee. The warm breeze. The laughter. The beauty of sky. Not to mention the fascinating view of the moon during night time.

Lea told me that humans call it their surroundings and a part of their daily life and its not permanent. However, I think that's what makes life meaningful. The things that are not permanent, makes life magical.

"Soule, ano ba! Ang tagal tagal mo d'yan!" I sighed when I heard Lea's voice again. She rarely treats me as her master. She only do it when we're in East Garden, or what humans call heaven.

I rolled my eyes and covered myself in a towel. As soon as I opened the shower, I saw her annoyed face with both of  her hands on her waist getting impatient.

"Rubious wants to talk to you." She said in a serious tone which made me a little nervous.

"Why? Did I do something wrong?" She just shrugged and started preparing my things.

Rubious wanting to talk to me is a once in a blue moon occasion, and that could mean that I did something wrong. Rubious is above among all of us, grim reapers. She is merciless and she handle her work logically and she doesn't let her emotions intervene with her work. Everyone is afraid of her, even me. That is why I'm extra careful right now and I'm already reflecting on my actions while Lea is driving.

"Is it because I let the old man talk to his daughter before taking his soul?" I asked nervously. Lea glanced at me with wide eyes getting confused.

"What? You did what?!" I sighed when she snapped and looked at me with wide eyes. Geez, she needs to calm down, it looks like her veins will pop out in any minute.
