After what happened last night, it felt like I have to follow everything that she wants me to do.Pilit akong nag iisip kung ano bang ibang paraan ang mayron ako para lamang makapag paalam kay Jeff. He has been so good to me.
"What?" She asked.
"Nothing..." My lips was still on a pout as I said that. She breathed out before pinching my cheeks.
"You're trying to act cute now, huh?"
"You know..." Mahina kong sabi sa kanya. "I don't really mind..." I cleared my throat so she'd look at me as she looked away when I started talking. "Taking a shower together..."
"I don't want you to be offended with what will I be saying... I just really think that we shouldn't do it unless you want us to get married." Mahina niyang sabi sa akin.
"That's not fair!" Medyo tumaas ang boses ko doon. I looked so offensive with her decision that she wasn't able to say anything but to laugh with the way I reacted.
Hindi ko sinasabing ayaw ko siyang pakasalan. Ang akin lang, that won't even be possible.
I kissed her arm that is now slightly turning pinkish, "Maliligo lang ako." I said. Still sulky.
I proceeded with doing my chores. I managed to finish everything that I had to do without talking to Catherine. I didn't want to talk to her so I managed my own business while she was either looking at me, asking me things, or just trying to get my attention.
For the nth time, I managed to roll my eyes again when I noticed that she was staring at me from my peripheral view.
Natatawa niyang saad.
Her question made me even more mad.
She laughed so loud that made me even want to throw another pillow on her side.
She did not talk for a while. It was like she was testing the water.
"Why are you so mad, huh?" Her smirk was kept inside her thin and pinkish lips when I decided to face her. "Should I get offended because you are not thinking about marrying me?" She asked.
I looked at her with my grumpy face. I can tell that she knows that I don't find this funny anymore.
"Don't touch me!" Padarag kong sambit bago siya muling irapan.
