When detective Keith walked away from the hall, the students were once again left alone in a confusion, this time without their phones as well.

''Stupid detectives. And we can't even call real police to save us. We have to trust these idiots to solve the case, but all they suggest is to get the ransom!'' shouted Chanel who was angry and sad about the situation at the same time.

''We could all divide the ransom equally'', suggested Emma.

''That's rich when it's coming from you'', suddenly stated Brooke and looked at Emma, who was seemingly put on the spot here. ''Come on, girl. Divide the ransom equally? Your family has more money than all of ours added together! Your living room alone looks like a museum. Come on girl, you can pay that ransom and save Sam yourself, you're rich!''

''Ouch'', giggled Janis to his buddies and all had a little laugh.

''I am what I am, but sixty-two million euros? You must be crazy! Even my dad does not own that much money.''

''What kind of idiots think anyone can pay that much money for a missing person?'' asked Jeremie. ''No offence to Sam, but he's, kind of, just a random dude. If they wanted to kidnap somebody, they should've gone with Emma'', he smiled to the girl, but she didn't meet his words with a kind look.

''Our school can pay. EBU is a f*cking money machine'', explained Cornelia. ''This is the most prestigious school. Not everyone gets to study here. Come on, look around: Benidorm, MGP, FiK, PIN, Dora, San Remo or even Melfest – all those schools are nothing compared to ours. And this comes from a Melfest alumni'', she added and briefly smirked, ''Do you imagine what a huge damage for school's reputation it would be? Don't you think it's weird that principal, instead of calling the real police officers, calls some private detectives that go by names Keith and Jim but we don't even know for sure if these are their real names?''

''So that nobody gets to know about the kidnap?'' Malik asked carefully. ''And he expects those two yellow faced idiots to solve the case secretly from all media and other possible attention?''

''Exactly'', Cornelia snaped her fingers.

''But is Martin Osterdahl actually willing to pay that much money just to save schools reputation?'', doubted Rosa.

''What else is left to do'', shrugged Sheldon agreeing with Cornelia.

''Can you imagine how cool would it be if we found Sam ourselves? Sure we'd become the heroes of the school'', smiled Jeremie, imagining how rich and famous he'd become for this merit.

''Can we first please think about Sam himself?'' Chanel suddenly cried out, you could see the concern on her face. ''He's in danger, and all we care about is becoming heroes? Let's just do something as fast as we can and save his life, please!'' she begged, struggling to hold back her tears.

''Don't worry, Chanel, and don't you cry'', Janis comforted her and was going for a hug, but Chanel's friend Ronela pushed him away, knowing he had a major crush on Chanel which was never mutual, hugging her worried friend herself.

''That's right, we'll find him'', reassured Ronela with her loud voice. ''Everyone now will be listening to me. One person has to be in charge, otherwise it'll be a complete chaos.''

''And that person has to be you'', nagged Cornelia with little irony in her voice.

''Yes, is there a problem?'' Ronela casted a withering look towards her. She wasn't asking. ''There's too many of us. Does everyone here want to help to find Sam? If not, it's your chance to leave now.'' Ronela was playing no games.
