Ruby ran out of the house and drove to the Cullens. She paid no attention to the music that was playing. She paid no attention to the speed on her car or the people at the side of the road. She had one thing on her mind.

She parked the car and ran to the door. It opened before she could knock.

"You don't need to knock Rub- What's wrong?" Carlisle asked as she threw herself into his arms. He picked her up and took her into the living room and sat down with her on his lap.

"What's wrong bumblebee?" He asked as Esme walked from the kitchen with some water.

"My sister. Isabella. She is moving here."

"What?!" Alice yelled from upstairs and sped down.

"I didn't see. I didn't even see you coming here. Are there shifters by your place?"

"Sam and a few others, they're watching the game at mine." She shrugged.

"You could always move in" Carlisle suggested.

"No. I can't do that. Ben needs me." She sighed as Carlisle caressed her face.

"Well we won't let her hurt you" Esme said as she handed her the cup of water. She smiled thankfully at Esme, who was giving her a reassuring smile.

"Stay tonight?" Carlisle asked.

"Can I?"

"As if you had to ask" Alice chimed in with a smile.

"Oh. I've been working on a teleportation spell. I can't do long distances, but watch this" she said and made herself teleport in the kitchen.

"Over here" she waved. And teleported back to Carlisle's lap.

"That's really cool Bumblebee" Carlisle purred as she hugged him.

"When is she coming?" Alice asked

"In a week. Dad is over the moon. He misses Bella so mu-"

"What's that? On your arm?" Esme asked as she saw a mark.

"Oh. It's nothing" she shrugged.

"It looks like a bruise" Carlisle spoke.

"Red, are you hurt?"

"No. Why would I be?"

"Because you have just come back from Arizona and Phil had your phone" Alice said.

Red sighed.

"I'll kill him." Carlisle's eyes blackened.

"No. It's fine. I have no reason to go back there or to see them again." Ruby said.

"He hurt you."

"And I'm healing."

"At least let me check you over." Carlisle begged. Ruby nodded. he flashed to his office, which he had began to keep medical equipment in just incase his clumsy little human hurt herself.

"So. How bad is it?" He asked. She sighed and took her top off to reveal her black and purple bruises.

"Red... You must be in so much pain" He said as anger flashed through him.

"Not really. Only when I laugh or someone hugs me too tight." She shrugged. Carlisle frowned and told her that he was going to take her into the office to give an x-ray.

"Apart from that, I just ask that you tell one of us if someone has hurt you. We are your mates Ruby, we want to protect you"

"But you can't. Not all the time that is" She said. Carlisle sighed and combed some hair behind her ear
